We have second dinner seating on the Disney Wish (first seating was filled). Party consists of 4 adults and one 12 year old. We have only ever done first seating, so second seating business is new to us. It seems like the second seating is workable and might even be preferable in some ways now that my daughter is older. Will having second the seating negatively impact anything such as attending pirate night? What time is the pirate night show and fireworks? I can't see to find this anywhere.

We will be on the Wish on Friday. Our family has always done 2nd seating, even my boys were 8, 10 and 14 on our first cruise. We love 2nd seating, it gives you so much more time during the day for activities and excursions. No rushing back to the ship for dinner.
We have never had a problem with Pirate night.
From what I have been seeing in videos there may be two stage shows for the two dinners but one set of fireworks. But I could be wrong.

I hope someone chimes in with the answer to the Pirate Night schedule. Have a great cruise.😎🚢👍🏻💫✨

We had second seating on the Wish at the end of July and on pirate night I was worried we were going to miss the show so we skipped dessert and left a little early. Our server tried to convince me that we had plenty of time and I should have listened. I can't remember what time it started exactly, but we would not have missed anything if we had stayed and enjoyed dessert. We ended up waiting for quite a while (they play dance music before the show). You might not get a front row spot but there is plenty of space to get a good view. Just go to the main deck as soon as your finished and you'll be fine.

Thank you so much! Sounds like it will all magically work out! :)

We had second dining on the Wish and I believe pirate night started at 10:15 so plenty of time we even had time to go rest in the room before going up to deck 11

The no rushing to get dinner (or even being prepared to eat again!) is what has me excited about second seating. Most nights we don't eat until 7:15/7:30 at home, so I am not quite sure why 8:00 seems so late to me. Haha!

We just sailed on the Wish with second seating. There is a young kids Mickey Pirate Party early and the Rockin Pirate Party at 10-11ish. We had dinner, missed nothing, had front row at stage, loved it!!!

We only do 2nd seating because its always more relaxed and unrushed. The servers know its pirate night and they are always prompt with serving. Besides, it never interfered with attending pirate night on time. We always have time to go to the room after dinner and then go.
