Disney Wish - Deluxe Family No Murphy Bed?

So there is no 'empty space' where the murphy bed would go. The chair that you see in some photos is actually in front of the where the murphy bed pulls down from. With the 'sleep 4' cabins, the cabin wall is at the end of the couch.

I Just have no recollection of how that extra space was set up and if the Wish is utilizing it the same way.
On our Fantasy B2B we were in a verandah room that sleeps 5 (Murphy Bed)

And a verandah room that slept 4 (no Murphy bed, but a chair in that space):

8508… thanks so much, this is all new to me!

Disney Wish stateroom 8508 has NO murphy bed. None of Disney Wish's FORWARD Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms have murphy beds.

If it was a room with a murphy bed, one of the beds would state: "Single Wall Pull-Down Bed".

This is an example of a room that holds five and has a murphy bed:

So one is 237 Sq Ft and the other is 284 Sq Ft so that means the verandah is 47 Sq Ft? Seems big! Like 10 feet by nearly 5 feet?

Thanks for all of your help and research. I appreciate it.

Not all of the larger “family” category staterooms will sleep 5 and have the Murphy bed. On the other ships, those that don’t will have a chair instead. I do not know if this carries to the Wish or not.
It definitely does. I had no idea that the Deluxe Family Verandahs didn't all have a Murphy bed. Luckily my cruises (b2b) aren't until January and I was able to change rooms to one with a Murphy bed. Also, it worked out so much better because now we managed to score the same room (in the bump outs) for both cruises!

My family has a deluxe family Verandah cabin booked on the Wish. According to a spreadsheet I was looking at this room can hold a max of 4 people (we are only 4 so this is fine). Does this mean there is no Murphy bed in the room and if not would that space where the Murphy bed typically would be turn into extra storage space?
First I should say that I haven't read all the responses to this question. We are currently in a 4A cabin on the Wish that only holds 4 people.
But will the area on the wall where the bed usually is stored be extra shelving? Or will it just be blank space? I was hoping with no Murphy bed in the wall they may have filled that area with more storage (especially with the lack of drawers). or will they just have a solid wall there?
There doesn't appear to be any extra shelving. Just blank space with a connecting door to the adjacent cabin on one wall and a huge mirror on the opposite wall.
From what I have read (but not seen confirmed) there is a chair in the place of the Murphy Bed.
Yes, there is an upholstered chair and foot stool. That's pretty much it for this extra space.

I wouldn't 100% trust the spreadsheet as it is still being filled in as people cruise. The spreadsheet says the room I have on the Wish holds 4 but I searched for a trip with 5 people and the cabin I have came up. Your room may not have been reported. I have been in a room like PrincessShmoo posted above. We had the extra space in the cabin with a chair, no murphy bed. One time we got that room and it didn't have a chair (on the Fantasy). The steward said they were pulling the chairs out of the cabin but he got us one as my husband really liked having the chair :). He liked sitting in the chair at the window when it was too hot on the balcony.

I had two connecting cabins in 4B in April. Classified as a family delux veranda. One slept 4 (no Murphy bed), but had a chair, the other slept 5 and had a Murphy bed, but no chair. My grands were happy to get their own beds and never had to use the upper bunk. So not all family delux veranda sleep 5.

Got off the Wish MV and we had 2 8B Family Oceanview connecting cabins. Cabin #'s 9666 and 9668. These were 7 and 8 cabins from the last cabin in the hallway. They connected. They had the bed, the sofa bed, the pull down and the Murphy. I honestly don't see how 5 people could store clothes in the cabins....luckily the Wish is only doing 3/4 night cruises.

Side note FYI:.....the room host automatically made up the sofa bed instead of the Murphy bed the first night. I didn't understand why as I figured with the Murphy bed down you still had the sofa to sit on....well he explained that the sofa bed is much more comfortable than the Murphy. We asked him to make up the Murphy the second night and when my friend woke up she said nope....going back to the sofa bed. Room host said people have been asking for 2 egg crate mattresses for the Murphy bed. Hard as a rock....maybe because not broken in yet?

For anyone that may be interested in the answer I found it! Category 4C Deluxe Family Veranda will either have a wall cabinet with a pull down Murphy bed or no cabinet/Murphy bed and it’s replaced with a chair. The staterooms are the same size but some have the pull down and some do not.
This is a video of the room without the Murphy bed cabinet (but still family size) https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cf1uERwlp1L/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
This is correct. We had a FDw/V on the first trip on our B2B. Room 10855 has the sofa, pull down and murphy bed which is stored in the wall when not in use. There is no chair.

In the FD/wV Room 8072 there is no Murphy bed but a chair and small squishy ottoman (table).

Each had the pull down bed from the ceiling.

Cheers!
