It looks like this plan must be purchased in conjunction with a meal plan but the brochure also states it must be purchased for each night of the stay. Maybe I'm misinterpreting the rules but if I only want to sign up for the Deluxe Dining plan for one night, of our 2 night-stay, would I be obligated to buy the Wine portion of the plan for 1 or 2 nights?

I'll call tomorrow for more details but in the meantime, I'm hoping someone here knows the answer.

TIA!

I may be wrong, but I believe you must book the dining for the duration of your stay, so the same would apply for the wine and dine. The brochure states it is available for the length of your stay so it looks like you would have to purchase it for the same number of nights you stay.

I've looked at the wine and dine plan before, and you do need to add it for each night of your trip. I have never ended up adding it, since $40 is pretty steep to me for one bottle of wine.

yep has to be for your entire stay just like the dinning plan. If you only want the dinning plan and wine for one night, you will have to book the hotel for one night and then a second booking for the second night.

Thanks..in case anyone checks back. I never got a chance to call WDW dining today but it doesn't sound like this plan would be a good deal for us.

You must purchase it for the entire stay. $39.99 per night per reservation (not per person). Not all wines are available. Wines up to about $50 a bottle are 1 wine credit per bottle. Wines above $50 are 2 credits per bottle. No wines at $100 or over per bottle are offered. To make it worthwhile you need to select bottles that go for at least $40 per bottle for one wine credit and $80 a bottle for two wine credits.

You would also have to purchase any dining plan you wanted for both nights of your stay (unless you are a DVC member and can segment the reservation, or you book two separate reservations, one for each night).

I don't suggest calling WDW-DINE to ask questions about the dining plan or do anything else other than make reservations. They have incorrect information all too often.

If we go to Hoop De Doo or Cinderella Castle for dinner we do not need the "Wine and Dine" for those nights. Can we order 2 bottle of wine the following nights for our dining party? In other words, can we use 2 wine credits in one night for 2 bottles of wine?
