As the world cup is about to begin and is on for the next four weeks.

Three games per day for the first two weeks

:happytv:

I am already fed up of all the adverts. I do enjoy the world cup though but more looking forward to Big Brother.:thumbsup2

:cool1: i shall be tuning in !

with the world cup and Big Brother i wont be leaving the sofa much :lmao:

I can't wait for it to be over ..... it's already driving me crazy with everything on TV / in shops associated with it. It's going to be a long 4 weeks.:sad2:

Woo-hoo!:cool1: I just hope that our boss makes plans to let us watch the England games during work-time, or I'm going to be very grumpy!! :rotfl:

All I can say is Thank ggoodness it's only once every four years

DD and I have already decided we're going out Saturday night to leave DH to watch in peace since we're obviously going to lose control of the remote that night.

The company where my dad works has already installed more tvs to show the footy.

I love sport but can never get excited about international football, having said that several player from the team I support have been selected so I have some interest & I rather the footy to Big brother any day

However i'm working Saturday so will picking the drunks out of the gutter (nothing new there then for a Saturday)

i LLOOOOVE the world cup! I come from a huge footballing family and the World Cup is our Mecca! I will watch any game thats on from Portugal V Brazil to Algeria V Slovenia....I just love it!

I just wish I could stay sober for the four weeks its on!!! :rotfl:

All of which reminds me...... world cup competition! Must start new thread.....

Me too. At least it will give me plenty of me time to plan our trip :cheer2:

excellent point :thumbsup2

it may also help me to lose weight because if there's nothing on TV but football ( likely ) I will have no choice but to take myself off out for a walk.

I'm hoping to be able to time our weekly food shop with the England matches! It should be a bit quieter and the roads will hopefully be better too :goodvibes

Does anyone know where you can find the list of matches?
