My son and his GF sprang some news on us the other day :bride: ...
They want to get married, and maybe have a Disney wedding!

We (not them) just happen to be going to DL tomorrow, and I'd like to bring them back a few "wedding" things. I was thinking a tiara or bride ears, and for my son maybe the groom ears (and a pirates shot glass!). I looked on ebay and those groom hats are $50. YIKES!

Any ideas?
Are there pamplets or DVD's or anything out there to help them plan a Disney wedding?

You almost got it with your title...get thee to disneyweddings.com!

So are you talking about a wedding AT Disneyland/world, or a Disney themed wedding?

Beware and be aware of this page.

Now I must go faint after seeing the number on that page....

You are welcome.

When DH and I were planning our wedding between '01 and '03 (something I don't recommend), we sent away for the DVD, and nearly fainted then, too.

Friends of mine are rabid disney fans (though not as rabid as I have become, b/c their DD is 6 months younger than my boy and they haven't been to WDW yet (they live on the east coast)) and wanted a WDW wedding but her dad said NO.

So they were off to WDW for their honeymoon, and when they mentioned that to their photographer, it turned out he was a rabid fan as well, and did something for them that he normally doesn't do...something involving staying later than normal, or he went with them in the limo to get more pictures...something cool like that, just b/c of WDW. :goodvibes

We got Disney bride and groom ears last October, and they were more like $20, not $50. Not sure of the exact price, but no way would we have paid that much. Congrats, and good luck with the planning. I wish we could have done a Disney wedding...

Yeah - the ears are closer to $20 in the parks. Should be able to find the bride headband easy enough, but may have to go to the mad hatter to get the top hat. My hubby & I got married at WDW Yacht Club (1 year ago this sunday). It was an amazing day!! The whole trip (1 week @ WDW, our intimate wedding, and our honeymoon) only cost 12,000. Not bad considering most of our friends spent a lot more on just their receptions!

There are some really cute wedding pins. When we got engaged our Disney buddies brought us one of Mickey and Minnie cutting the cake. :) One of those makes a nice little gift.

WOW... my mouth dropped when i saw those prices!!! :scared1: i guess if i ever want a disney wedding, it'll have to be a homemade themed one!

Luckily enough, the Bride's dad pays... right? ;) My sons both will love Disney weddings! My daughter on the other hand may need to be more the "barefoot on the beach" kind of Bride! :lmao:
