Disney Wedding Questions?

Hi,

Please help?

My hubby and I want to have our wedding June 29, 2011 (the day we had our civil union) and we would like to know how soon can we call Disney to get our names in the system? I read that you can call before the 18 month mark and even do a site tour, is that true? Also, do you think the wishes minimum will go up again for 2011 or will it stay at $12K? Does anyone have a budget breakdown for there 2010/2011 wedding? How close can you stay to the minimum, including photographer, DJ, dress, make-up, hair, tux, etc. Our budget with honeymoon included is $14K (we will be honeymooning there) and we are finally leaning towards a wishes wedding, just hesitant about keep to our budget.

Call now. And keep calling until you reach an actual person - don't leave a message on their voicemail.

I was under the impression that you couldn't talk to anyone until 12 months out. I tried calling just for the heck of it, and told the person answering the phone that I wanted to make an appointment for my wedding in May, 2011.

The next day, I received a call back from a coordinator - and I was able to set up an appointment with her so we can go to talk to her during our trip on May.

She was able to talk to me for awhile, and she sent me pricing information. This was back in February.

So again, call now. Speak to an actual person. If one person tells you that you have to wait, call the next day and keep trying. Good luck.
