Disney Wedding Pics ... when you don't get married there?

So is this even possible? A little bit of background: DFi and I would have loved to get married at Disney but many (read = the older generation) of our family members were VERY much opposed to doing it there. So we are now planning our wedding here in New England where at least some of our family is happy (read = DFi's family in NY is fine with it but mine (in CA) not so much - let's just not go there right now). While as much as I would have liked to say, "I'm paying for this so I'll have it where I want to have it" I was a good girl and did not.



Now, the question: Can I bring my dress and have my DFi bring his tux down to Disney with us to have some pictures done? Will they allow this? We are not doing an official Disneymoon package. Any thoughts and info is greatly appreciated. TIA.

Unfortunately, I think the answer to your question is no.

Wedding portrait packages are only available to Disney brides, especially if you are considering wearing your wedding attire.

Now, if you just want to do some honeymoon pics (in something nice, just not wedding stuff), you can do that!

Disney Photographic Services has some packages (and I think some are even in the parks). Or you could hire an outside photographer to do some shots around the resorts.

bridal portraits are only available to disney brides from my understanding. but double check like hiwaygirl suggested.

you can do a honeymoon session in the parks but in casual attire only.

Yes, but propbably not by a Disney photograher. You can go to any resort in the attire, but not parks. The only way you can in parks, if your wedding is in the parks, or the photo package at the resorts before opening. I would call a wp on this
