Disney Wedding! Part 2!

Hello fellow Disers!

Remember back when I was asking for helpful advice to convince my parents?

This is the deal.

I promised I would update. And I am so truly sorry for not posting this before.

I have, well my parents have two weeks to decide whether or not we are going to Disney for my brother's wedding to book it. Which is May 15th.

The problem is, I have tried numerous tactics to convince these close-minded people, and none of that has really made an impact on either of them.

Two weeks! Please. Help me.

I want to be there for my brother. If I could goto my brother's wedding, I would be so forever grateful, I promise.

If you wish to help me, but cannot truly think of anything, please pray that I get to go to Sal's wedding and spend the week with my brother, his amazingly beautiful fiance`, her family, and my family. Or shall I say 'my family', since they are my family .

I'm praying for a miracle. So please pray with me too. Please help me keep and spread the faith and hope that my biological father and mother let me and my sister be in Disney with my brother.

I am a little confused. I read through your past posts to see what you meant and it doesn't seem like you ever came to a resolution about this with your parents. Also I am confused about the family references. You say you should say "your family" but you already talked about your family and then you refer to your "biological" parents. Are the biological ones the ones not letting you go or are they the ones with your brother or.......?

As for how to convince them, what point are they at now? Is this a financial issue at this point or is it that your parents do not support the decision your brother is making or that their relationship with him is just too broken at this time? Is there any other family you could go and stay with? Grandparents or an aunt or someone who is going?

I would like to help as you do seem so sincere in your desire to be at your brother's wedding but I just don't feel like much can be said with such sketchy info. I understand though that there is a limit of info people want to share on a public forum. So regardless of if you feel you can answer, good luck to you in this.

Sorry I confused you! My parents and my brother aren't in the best relationship at the moment. I can't stay with family or anything, and it has nothing to do with the financial situation. My future sister-in-law's family is like family to me, and I only referred to them in the last time I said family, to seem like we are closer. Sorry for the mixup!
