I totaly spaced out and forgot to post about this on Monday, I'm so sorry!

David Tutera was on the View on Tuesday talking about his custom Disney weddings. I have to agree with Joy when she was saying a wedding for $75,000 is alot. Although the photos they had on the show were so amazing.

Heres what they posted on the website. Sorry no photos :(

Finally, all brides-to-be fantasize about the perfect storybook wedding, and now that dream is a reality at Walt Disney World Resort with Disney's Couture Wedding Collection by David Tutera, who was here today to show us the four amazing tailored looks available to brides at Walt Disney World Resort, which include:

1) Classic Elegance: For the bride who really wants to be a princess at the ball, dancing with her prince…
2) Simply Chic: For the modern bride, it's all about sleek modern lines combined with the soft elements of flowers and fabrics…
3) Enchanted Garden: For the bride who imagines her wedding as if she has been transported into a garden with colors that are soft and muted but still vibrant enough to make her wedding come alive with magic…
4) Cocktail Soiree: For the unique and different bride and groom that want to make a statement and simply have some fun…

aww I missed it... I agree with Joy it is pricey.. I am wondering how long it will last at Disney The Tutera collection....

Keep in mind the 75k is for 50 guests I believe and then you have to go up in 50 people increments. So you couldn't have 30 people, you would have to pay for 50. I think it is pricey, but you would be surprised how many people with do it. It also includes all of the stationary and cake, etc.

I think there are alot of brides that would just like to hand over control to someone they trust. I would love to see what the average DFTW costs.

I thought a wedding in the MK was $50-75k?

:) Michele

until recent changes a MK wedding had a $500K pricetag attached. I know:scared1:

but it looks like DFTW has changed things up again, and recently I heard the MK wedding had a 50K min. Still quite a bit out of reach for me...but I loved my intimate wedding. It was perfect for me and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way :goodvibes

If you check out the website, they've changed it yet again, 25k minimum includes your ceremony in the rose garden in front of the castle, inlclude landau coach, footmen, etc.

I called my DFTW Consultant and she was very helpful with both the Magic Kingdom weddings and Couture Weddings. She told me that the MK weddings were only at 8am (like the website states), a max of 52 guests (including the bride, groom, and wedding party), and that by the time the wedding is over regular park guests will be in the park waiting for it to open. As for the couture wedding, it's a $45,000 decor add on and the price of the reception is $250/person. I love the Simply Chic, so I am trying to see if I can sneak it into my budget, but I doubt it. That's what Disney magic is for though!!!:rotfl:

Is he the planner who worked on the wedding showcased on Entertainment Tonight? It was from Bride's Magazine? The pictures on his website look like that wedding.
