Hi, I hope this helps. I bought a Sleeping Beauty dress, style SB2814. However, I'm having customizations done to it to have several things changed (such a creating a V-neck and such). There's several things to consider when buying a Kirstie Kelly...
1. Cost - I went into buying my wedding dress knowing that cost wasn't even an option. My parents are very good to me and bluntly told the saleswoman that price was not a deciding factor. If this is the case for you as well, then by all means, go for a Kirstie Kelly. They are very expensive. I was in between two dress - a Cinderella (the Plantinum dress, where if I bought it, they would donate some odd amount to a foundation) which was $3500. The other dress I was in between was the one I ended up buying. The reasoning was because the plantinum dress didn't flatter my petite size. And my mother burst out crying when I put on the other dress (in the middle of a high rise bridal salon, I may add....) My dress ended up being $1800. I got 10% off because of the trunk sale.
2. Time - Don't expect to get your dress that day. I ordered mine back in January and have yet to hear something back from the salon. The Kirstie Kelly rep. there said it would take about 6-7 months to get, not including the customizations.
3. Quality - The quality is amazing. I'm familiar with fabrics and the satin used in the dresses is wonderful. Not to mention the bead work. I'm a perfectionist (as is my mother) and we couldn't find anything wrong with the beading. So beautiful! I checked all the seams and they all were well stitched.
I highly suggest one of these dresses. Yes, cost is high but the quality is nearly unparalled. Good luck!!
