Hello! I was looking at this great website for wedding favors and came across these and wanted to post them just in case anyone is looking for a Cinderella type wedding favor:

I just love the "Mint" to Be wedding mints under the winter favors and may be going with that if I can't figure out a way to do it cheaper myself!

The "Mint to be" can easily be done as so,

1. Get life saves mints
2. Print up the bags (plain paper will work fine, plus you can design it how you want" I figure the bags are about 7inch long by 2 1/2 inch wide.
2. Take the bags and fold the bottom half up so you have a 3 inch fold and a 1 inch piece hang over at the top.
3.Very gently glue the very side shut leaving the top open
4. Insert your 2 mints
5. Fold down remaining top flap
6a. (depending how you want it shut) either glue shut or insert ribbon through back and tie shut
6b. if you glued it shut now glue on a premade bow

You're all set
You should definatly be able to make those for less than $2 each. Especcialy if you buy your ribbon on sale or with a coupon from a craft store and wait for the mints to go on sale or buy them in bulk from a sams club or bjs.

p.s. make sure your hands are very clean after you glue the bags shut so when you put the mints in you don't get glue on them. Nobody wants to eat glue

Thanks! After working up my budget last night (and almost having a heart attack ) I think making them will be the best way to go. I may have my Mom help me with the gluing part as I can be a little bit generous with glue and get it all over everything. Thanks so much for the idea! It does seem simple to do now! Where would I find a design to put on the paper or would I have to create it? TIA!

As far as designs, you can either make your own if you're crafty on the computer, or try googling for a specific image and then making the whole thing in a word document. You can PM me if you need any help
