Why not? What if someone just said they were just dressing up as Cinderella, not wearing a wedding gown? Would they deny admission? Lots of little girls like to dress up as Cinderella. Maybe a grown woman would want to, also. And, a grown man may want to dress up as Prince Charming.
Why wouldn't they let you wear a wedding dress?
Clothes are clothes. As long as certain body parts are appropriately covered, why would wedding attire be prohibited anywhere?
Unless you got married at Disney World and pay the extra fee to wear your gown inside the park for a special event as part of your wedding celebration or if its Mickeys Not so Scary Halloween Party, you are not allowed to wear any type of wedding attire or fancy gowns. In fact, I have seen people with amazing costumes that are practically identical during MNSSHP that have been asked to change because people were confusing them with the company's characters. While I find it unfair for them to do this during the Halloween parties, it is their policy and they will kick you out if you do not abide. We got married at Disney World and had a Dessert Party at Epcot and if we had to pay extra on top of all the costs we had already paid in order to wear our wedding attire. Cruise rules may be different, but certainly not acceptable at Disney World.
