Disney Wedding dresses

Has anyone in the DIS used a Disney wedding dress from Disneybridal.com ?


I would like to see how they look on others as opposed to the models on the website.

Please specify, if you could, which princess it is!

No, I am not a bride or fiancee, although I am hoping my sister soon will be and she is interested

I got the gold belle one with the really big pick ups! I fell in love with it the moment I first saw the sketch in the newspaper. Since we are not yet married I don't have any pics of me in it. Next time I go to see my mom (storing it at her house so DF doesn't find it) I can try to get a pic of me in it for you.

My experience is that not many DISbrides have disney dresses. I am not sure why.

So far my only disapointment was that the dresses are made in China and for the cost I thought they could have been produced in a country slightly more reputable. I guess everything disney comes from China. I honestly think the quality though is fine. I have no complaints.

I thought about getting a Belle one, but it's been discontinued and after seeing the price, I could have had a dressmaker make of for a fraction of the cost.

I ended up getting my dress at David's Bridal. I'm not a princess person, so I didn't want any of the big ballgowns they have.

I think you just answered your own question! From all the posts I've read here over the years, the Disney dresses' quality is not in line with their price. Although most wedding dresses these days are made in China, the ones in Disney's price range usually aren't and usually have a higher quality of fabric and workmanship.

I loved the Belle one with the pickups but the cowl neck looked horrible on me. It was around $4k if I can remember correctly.

I got mine 80% off new with tags because it was from the first collection!!!

Ok she def needs more pictures in her PJ/TR - it took me forever to find one! So I think its kind of weird she wore the straps up over her shoulders when they are supposed to go around your shoulders...

Truthfully the dress on her doesn't look quite like what I had envisioned. I really think I need to take some pictures of myself in the dress and see what I think - because all of this nightmarish wedding planning at this point is all revolving around the dress. GRRRRRRR.

From the few pictures I could find Sungela's wedding looked abs beautiful.
