Disney Wedding Dresses!!

I was wondering if anyone had anymore info on this. DH read in the Wall Street Journal this morning that Disney has contracted with a designer to make a line of princess wedding dresses for brides that want to resemble their favorite princess on their wedding day. From what he said, there will be a "Belle" line, an "Aurora" line, a "Cinderella" line, an "Ariel" line, etc.

Man....if I was 23 and planning a wedding!!!!

Actually, my wedding dress very much resembled Belle's yellow dress (except it was white of course!). Mind you, this was in the mid-80s so that really wasn't as strange as it sounds.

Don't count your chickens lol...DD-almost 17 with no bf has been telling me since she first went to WDW in 1997 she was going to get married at the GF wedding pavillion, dress, coach, and all!!! That sounds expensive.

I believe I informed my mother I was getting married in WDW in 1992. Still planning on it, although many kinks need to be worked out...like, say a spouse...and some laws.

I was just going to tell her the same thing...you can skip the divorce & just do a vow renewal which if you are wearing a Disney gown, my as well have the renewal done at Disney too.

No, the prices don't seem crazy when I hear what some bride's spend on their dresses. However, it is a lot more than I have budgetted to spend on my wedding dress. I'm happy for anyone who can swing it.

Aw, thanks, Buckalew. There really is a large variety of affordable dresses these days. It's nice to see that most designers have caught on and started offering lower priced options for people like me.
