Does anyone know where I can find Disney wedding bands?? I have been looking all over the web and can find nothing.:confused3 Any help or info would be appreciated. I thought it would be nice to have when we travel instead of the regular wedding bands.

Good luck on this mission - I have been looking for 4 months and have come up with NOTHING!! I went to DL and checked all the stores there as well as at WDW...it seems like a market that is totally uncornered - some luckly jeweler out there could make a mint if they did a custom line just for DisBrides!!!

I considered ordering the ones from the Japanese Disney Site, but there is no really good picture of the mens band - and my DF really wants a band with visible Mickey's on it...not sure but the men's band on that site looks like the Mickey is truly "hidden" - like on the inside of the band only...

I have a meeting on August 5th with a local jeweler who is going to make ours I think.

I'm not interested in getting a Disney wedding band but I saw the Japanese ones in person and I think they are worth every penny! It is very hard to describe them but some even have a secret inner ring that you can inscribe a special message on. If you really want a Disney wedding band I would try to find somebody in your community that speaks Japanese and could help you order one.
As far as having a jeweler custom make a Disney wedding band, I don't see why they wouldn't? I have a friend that had a band with Mickey heads custom made. I don't think it would be too hard for a jeweler to put three stones together to make Mickey heads. If you want a skinnier guy's band with engraved Mickeys that might be a little bit harder. Look up a smaller, non-chain owned jewelry store in your area and see if custom making a band is a possibility...you might be pleasantly surprised!

If you do like any of the DLTokyo stuff you won't need to find someone who speaks Japanese. They speak English. Most children if not all learn English as a child.

You do not need someone to speak Japanese to call Disneyland Tokyo. I have called Tokyo several times and I do not speak the language. Just ask for someone who speaks English and they will come on the line to help you or they will transfer you to their Wedding dept. They are so helpful and forthcoming with knowledge. Depending on when you call Tokyo if someone who doesn't speak English isn't available they will take your name and number down and have someone call you back. This was my personal experience. HTH :goodvibes

While I wish this was the case it has not been my experience either time I've visited the Japanese Parks. There is definitely a language barrier. Many know the basic words (hi, bye, thank you, good afternoon) but not much beyond that. Communication in the Parks is made easy by the fact that they have pictures and models of things everywhere and a translation sheet in most stores and attractions and they are sooo nice. Hong Kong is a different story; a large percentage of the people there speak English so if you see something there you like it would probably be fairly easy to get (they have very nice jewelry too). The Japanese that work at Disney are, however, EXTREMELY kind and helpful and were always willing to find somebody that spoke some English when they did not understand me. Both trips my experience with their customer service was outstanding and if you call it will probably be the same. If you say you don't understand and would like somebody that speaks English, my experience was that they would usually apologize for not speaking English and go out of their way to find you someone that did. If you call the reservation line for the Japanese parks they have people there that speak good English. Guest services in the parks and hotels also always had somebody on hand that spoke good English. They can probably help you and connect you to what you need. Good luck...the rings they sell are beautiful and if you want a Mickey ring I think it is worth it to try to get one! Wish I'd thought to take pictures of the rings when I was there last month.

Thank you so much to everyone for all the help:) I was getting so frustrated looking online. My friends have Mickey wedding bands that they got 11 years ago that are really cute. They use to sell them at DTD but have not for years. I don't know why they stopped.:confused:Well hopefully I will be able to find something I like or get it custome made.

I'd thought it might be helpful to post the pictures of the Disneyland Tokyo Rings:

These were the rings I ordered for our wedding about 5 years ago:

They were available at the World of Disney store in DTD. They had several styles but these were the ones I thought would work. Unfortunately they didn't. It's my understanding they stopped making/selling them about 2 or 3 years ago.

Over the years a few brides have asked about this (maybe 4 or 5) but to my knowledge no one has been able to find anything.

It may be difficult to have a goldsmith create a "Mickey" or "Disney" style ring for you due to copyright issues. The jewelers I talked to wouldn't do it. But, I've also heard of other couples finding someone who would do some things.

You might try looking on ebay but your best bet is to probably have a few alternates in mind.

I got our rings custom made at our jewlers. We both had a plain platinum band (we wanted them to match exactly) and then had a mickey head and our wedding date marked on the inside - we LOVE them.

Also my hubby never has a excuse to forget our anniv!

I believe the key to having one custom made is to have a three-stone ring, or three circles embossed, as opposed to wanting a Mickey design. Mickey is copywrited, but three stone rings are not. :rolleyes1

I was afraid of this:sad2:

As far as Mickey rings go, my fiancee and I were able to find one in our hotel's gift store (and I'm sure it's available at all of them, and I KNOW WOD in DTD has them) that is a Mickey shape. the stones aren't diamonds, but it is 14 karat gold, and I'm sure you can get the stones replaced with diamonds. It was about $300, and I keep getting compliments on my engagement ring!! I'm not allowed to post a link because my post count is too low, but you can see it is you look on the Disney Driven Life website--it's on the page with the Neurotic Disney Persons for the month of June '10.

ARE YOU SERIOUS!? :scared1: I just pawned my old band from my ex for 50 bucks. I bet I could've gotten so much more on ebay if I had known that...... I am sorry ladies I could have helped you out! I feel so stupid oi!
