Disney Website Upgrade

Hi,

Not sure if anyone noticed or not but I went in today to look at some quotes for my December conference trip and the Disney World site is different now when booking. Instead of that little calendar in the corner, you get a large screen with a calendar to click on your dates.

It looks more user friendly to me now and easier to navigate. I always wondered why their site seemed to be behind the times a bit and it looks like they put some time into updating it.

That's wierd. I just logged on, because I have been pricing some trips for the last week and a half and I don't see any difference in the website?

I think I spoke too soon with how easy it should be. The dates on the big calendar only went to the first week of July. Maybe they are running a test or something because it looks glitchy. Strange??

I got that same screen about a week and ago and just like you could only get the dates to go into July. Only got it that one time.

Seeing the thread title got me hoping that they actually have upgraded their site, only to be disappointed
Disneys website is so archaic They really need to step into the 21st century and allow us to see a calendar with the days that are available at the resort you are looking at. Not this add a day subtract a day stuff that you have to do to see if there is availability if you adjust your time by a day or 2. The really sad part, is that the CMs have to do the same thing.

It's the new version for me as well and it won't let me look beyond the first week of July. Disney, if you're going to upgrade, maybe try including the calendar feature of the whole year.

ETA: Just figured it out. If you click on any day in July, it starts the calendar for the remainder of months through December.

I have seen the change Jakey is referring to sometimes. Other times, it's the old screen I get. I have wondered if I have just hit it "right" and used the site when they are running a test of their upgrade.
