Which one is better?
Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon.popcorn::

Going to need a bit more info. Like make up of family, etc.

This is way too open ended.

ETA: Missed that this was a poll but my post still applies. Except Resorts really don't have water parks.

I guess I just don't know what you are asking.

And as for the old River hole. Stay out of the damn lakes. :)

I've been swimming in FL freshwater lakes the last couple of days--not dead yet. ;)

We like BOTH for different reasons. TL for the wave pool and CnG. BB for all the slides. We try to go to both.

We had always gone to TL, the theming appealed to us and seemed tropical and relaxing. Our impression of BB had always been there would be a lot of white concrete and glare, etc...

Well we finally went to BB this last trip and we loved it. The theming worked a lot better than we had thought it would from the ads. In fact I would say we liked it better overall.

Do you worry at all about gators?

Gators are only an issue at dusk and rarely. I grew up in central FL. I've seen gators many times but they leave people alone. Generally if they go after a kid on the beach it is because a dog is near, they love dogs.

Nope. Saw a small (and harmless) water snake swimming in the same area this morning, too. Just critters that want nothing to do with me either.

On the plus side, saw a couple of otters also.

We like TL for shark reef & Crushin Gusher, and BB for everything else. Wouldn't skip one for the other.

I prefer TL to BB overall but I have Aquatica at Sea World and TL right next to each other for my favorite waterpark in Orlando.BB however isn't far behind,the main reason I have it behind TL and Aquatica is I just don't like the layout of the park with all the slides up the mountain,it just gets boring going up the same couple of staircases or waiting for the chairlift which only gives you access to a couple of slides,the slides at BB are however very good so as someone said they're all worth doing.

As far as gators in the lakes,you couldn't pay me enough to swim in any lake down here.I'll go in very minimally,for example Wet n Wild has a lake where you can knee ski around it on a tow rope that takes you around the lake.I try to not fall and if you make it around the entire lake you can avoid having to swim too much in it,plus you trust the lake to be somewhat safe.I've seen gators in the lakes in Celebration several times.One time down here in Miami a gator came out of a canal and was strolling through the middle of a busy street during rush hour causing traffic to completely stop.
