Disney Water Park Crowds

The only thing that BB has over TL is the wave pool and the shark reef, and while the wave pool at TL is overall better than the one at BB it is only suitable for kids that are strong swimmers. So in general, we prefer BB because we have a 4yo that isn't going to do the shark reef or the TL wave pool. At BB he loves both the kids areas (tike's peak and ski patrol), teamboat springs (his favorite), the double tube slide at runoff rapids, and the two purple mat slides. Of course the lazy river is great at both parks. We'll be taking him to TL pretty soon and while I'm sure he'll have fun, I still think BB will remain our favorite.

Early is the key for short waits water or theme park We like to get rides in first and then relax in the wave pool or lazy river when crowds get heavier.

Disney waterparks are so popular in the summer that cast members, for example, aren't allowed to use them during the summer months. Last summer, my nephew who was in the Disney College program and working for Disney got a season pass to Aquatica then to have fun place to cool off on days when he was not working.
