Hi,
I was watching some sample videos on the STVS website and a lot of them show the bride and groom recieveing watches at the end. Is that if you pay for Mickey and Minnie?

Thanks and this is just the beginning of all the questions I have. I get to start planning now!

Not in 2005. We received them and a wedding certificate signed by the mice back then. The watches are real nice

Yes, please add a spoiler alert if possible. I was trying hard to keep the rumoured gift as a surprise and I *almost* made it (five weeks to my May wedding!) without finding out. Oh well, at least I know what I don't need to buy at the store before the wedding.

I'm sorry, but it seems I posted my response at the same time someone posted that we warn for spoiling. I didn't think much of it because it was somethign that had been discussed/confirmed not too long ago and pictures are posted of them if you do a search.
I am sorry if this ruined it for anyone, just tried to be helpful.

What should be kept in mind is that while most couples do get them, not all do. From what I've heard it's up to your WC. So I'd ahte for someone to get their hearts set on them and then not receive the set.

We received them for our DL wedding though back in 2003.

Right, not all couples get them so dont get upset if you dont. DH and I did-- but ive heard of quite a few brides who didnt. Dont go expecting anything and you wont be let down (Thats why they dont include it into the package-- they dont want you to expect it just in case you dont get it)

I believe the Certificates are no longer available and not listed on the contracts now.

That was my thought as well.

Custom brides get AP's.

The "gift" used to be listed on the original booking receipt you received from DFTW, so I'm not sure how much of a surprise it really was.

We were a custom and we received both the gift and the AP's. I thought all couples were given the gift, but only customs got the AP's too. We did not have our gift listed on our booking receipt. My DH didn't know about it, but I did so I kept it a secret until our wedding day. He was really surprised!

We had a custom in January '07 and we got the AP's but we did not get the watches. I heard about them on this board and I was really looking forward to getting them, but we didn't.

Sept 2007 Intimate bride here. We recieved the watches from M&M at the Commander's Terrace. I knew about the possibility of them, but DH didn't. I love my watch and wear it often. They sure do have huge bands on them, though! Easily fixed, however.
