It's been a LONG time since I've gone to Disney without a child, and I don't even remember what I should bring in with me...since when I travel with kids I bring EVERYTHING.

I'd love to know what you bring, whether you are a minimalist, or a pack-in-case-of-emergencies type of person...and what bag you like to bring!!

I am pretty minimal with the stuff I bring. On less than full day trips, all I really bring is my id, my AP, and my cell phone. On full days I usually just have a small tote bag type purse with the above things plus sunscreen, a light sweater, my camera, and possibly a small snack or two.

BF brings his phone and AP and that's it.

I love this question. I have 6 kids and we bring everything but if it was just me and the DH.......I think I would just bring us, my sunglasses and a credit card.:goodvibes Would be wonderful not parking a stroller, grabbing bags to go on rides, etc., just walk up to a ride a jump on.

My son is thirteen and we bring as little as possible. I have a small wallet type purse that is small enough to fint in a pocket if I want it to and is just big enough to hold my ID, debit card, folded cash and either my phone or my cell phone. Its small enough that they don't check it as a bag when we come through the gates. I also carry a foldaway bag that's small enough to fit in my little wallet, that way if i have stuff i need to carry later on I can do that without too much effort.

We are minimalists. We avoid taking a bag entirely. Just a wallet in our pocket for money, credit card, KTTW card, ID and perhaps a disposable poncho.

I'm having this same dilemma -- quick one day trip tomorrow. I want to have my phone & camera, id/cc --- all easily in my pockets. My issue is my eyes - I am SO light sensitive I have to have my sunglasses, but by 8:00 or so I don't need them. I only have a huge bulky case for them. So I am thinking I'll carry my normal purse, but I would SO love not to! Maybe I can find my neck strap for my sunglasses --- I just realized I won't have a pin lanyard - which scratched my glasses last time. Hmmmm.....

I bring just my City Bagg purse from Baggallini - in it I carry my cell phone, a small zippered pouch for bills and cards, travel hand sanitizer, sunscreen/lipbalm, sunglasses, AP, and P&S camera. Everything else can stay in the room! :)

sun-tan lotion, some bandages, aspirin/tylenol/aleve/ibuprofen (choose one), at least two bottles of hand sanitizer, some ziploc bags (for stashing wallets/cameras/cell phones in on wet rides), camera, two bottles of water. Cell phones in pockets, only turned on if we get separated.

Room key, park ticket, and $20 bill.

I don't have kids and I go to Disneyland a lot! This is the bag I use, it is very small but perfect for what I take in:

This is pretty much what I bring as well but I also bring a bottle of water and granola bar. The bag I have is a park touring bag so it has a small rubber ring on the side to hook on a water bottle.

The hand sanitizer, meds and sunscreen are all travel size so they don't take up much room. I keep normal size bottles at the hotel room so I can refill them if needed.

My husband wears cargos, so he is my purse.:lmao: I usually have nothing on me, maybe my iphone. But he carries my ID, money, hotel key and park ticket. If we are crazy enough to way our pinned lanyard, I put the above in the little pouch, and carries my chapstick. :) Off we go. :cool1:

Ditto for me, minus the wallet (I just pull out my ID and credit card and have cash on hand as well), meds and sunscreen. I use the hand sanitizer wipes that are individually packaged (like the wipes they give at rib joints) to prevent any accidental spills. Bring my own water. Lip balm is HUGELY important to me.

I use a super light Patagonia sling that is made of water repellant fabric and literally ounces. I got mine last year but this year's model is 5.8 oz. I like it because it has a little separate zippered part for cards, money, and phone as well as pocket inside the big zippered side. It is most important for GRR when you have your iPhone!

When we don't have the kid, we don't have a bag.
Hotel key (doubles as credit card), annual pass, cell phone in a ziploc bag so we can go on water rides without worrying about it getting wet (which is also our digital camera). :thumbsup2

The only bag that I bring is the one my camera is in, it is very small and most of the time they barely look in it. It makes getting in and out very easy. Sometimes, if I know I won't need the extra batteries or memory card, I will just bring the camera. My cell phone goes in my pocket with my wallet, so all in all it makes getting in the parks much faster. Now if only they would setup a no bag line like WDW does.

I have a little monopack (basically a really small backpack with only one strap) that I use to carry a few little items like a water bottle, a Ziploc bag of stuff like bandaids, antacid and Moleskin, some hand sanitizer, wet wipes (for minor cleanup as needed), sunscreen, a poncho I haven't ever had to use yet and maybe some gum or something like that. My wallet, Smartphone and a small point-and-shoot camera go in pants pockets.

Lots of trips to Disney, never with kids (ok maybe a niece now and then;))

I usually have my Canadian flag Roots fanny pack...it looks less old lady then the others (hey, I'm only 42 after all,) which has a place for a water bottle. I bought it at the Canadian pavilion in Epcot a number of years ago and it helps me "represent" so to speak;). Might as well make a statement as well as be functional. DH and I usually bring trail mix/granola bar with us to help with bad food cravings (I am a sucker for a Mickey head ice cream), our credit card, passes, little bit of money (all in a ziplock baggie in case things get wet)...sunscreen for the lips. Always have sunglasses...although recently I purchased transition glasses which darken up in the sun and lighten when inside so that will be handy (I always drop my sun glasses when I go into a dark ride or an inside ride or as evening hits...we'll see if this improves things or not).

Of course need to bring picture ID in case you have alcohol...was ID'd at the HoopDeeDo Review at WDW (I was waaaaaaayyyy above 30 years old at the time) and they would not serve me drinks, so I had to drink from my husbands glass when no one was looking...;)...flattering on one end, but was a bit irritating!!!
