Disney vs. Carnival

It's not that they even grew out of "Disney" they still love all Disney has to offer but the nightlife on DCL is non-existent after midnight. On Carnival and RCCL they danced into the wee hours and had a really good time.

We are trying to get a family DCL cruise next October and hoping they will join us!!!

haven't seen midnight in a LONG time .... been on 3 disney cruises and have yet to make it to one of the adult clubs after dinner!!!

Embarkation was much better, you checked in and walked on the ship, no waiting around for numbers to be called.

Actually DCL used to do this. Before the number system they had ropes set up in the lobby as people would start to queue up when they arrived at the terminal. It was, IMO, a nightmare. Instead of being able to walk around the terminal you were stuck standing in line until boarding began. Of course you could always opt not to stand in line but you would then have to wait for the VERY long line of people to board before you.

I'm sure if you got to the terminal in the early afternoon the line was gone and you could just board, but for those of us who get there early the new system is so much better.
