Disney Visa

Hi all. When I got home from work tonight there was a pre-approved Disney Visa application in the mail. I called in order to get it, I wanted to transfer a high interest rate card balance to the Disney Visa due to the fact that it has a 0% interest rate until 2/06. Anyway...I have already booked my vacation with Magical Vacations. I know that when you have a Disney Visa you can get discounts on certain things. Due to the fact that I have already booked my vacation (and put it on my other credit card), would I qualify for any discounts?

I am planning on booking the Illuminations Cruise, any chance I can get a discount for that?

There haven't been any discounts for WDW for quite a while, so you're really not missing out on much.

I hope that you're aware that you will not be earning any rewards dollars for any balance transfers. They are exempt from the rewards.

Also, if you're transferring a high balance because of the 0% introductory APR, do not make any more charges on that card until the balance has been paid off! Those new charges will not be at the 0% interest. And any payments that you make on the card will be applied to the balance carrying the lower APR first.
