I am curious if you can use a family members Disney Visa to access the discounts or if the Visa discounts are only for the card holder (We recently filed bankruptcy and cannot get one ourselves, but my Aunt said she would get one for herself and let me use the discounts) Does anyone have any experience with this?

Um, you can use the rewards if that's what you mean. There is no name on the rewards card. Basically, you charge things to the CC and then accumulate reward points. Those points are transferred to a disney gift card of sorts. You could use those rewards dollars. But you wouldn't able to get discounts unless she was with you and buying things for you. They would think you stole the card if you tried to use it to get a discount

what about the free disney dining offers (IF it is offered again) is that something that is able to be given?

The card holder must be part of the travel party.

How about opening a chase checking account....you can do it online...and get a chase Disney debit card. Then you can still get the great discounts, although you dont accumulate your reward points as fast.

Have you aunt get a card with YOUR name on it. I have my mom's card with my name on it, so I can buy her things when we are on trips or for emergency's when she is out of town (ie sick pet). They won't have a clue that the credit line is your aunts and not yours.
