Disney Visa trip same as cash question

We're going to Disney w/another family so when we booked, we booked together on her Disney Visa and I gave her money for my deposits (family of 5 in 2 rooms). If I put the balance on my Disney Visa, does it qualify for the 6 months same as cash deal?

I am not sure but I was also wondering about the same as cash. I just paid off our AAA package and it is listed at Disney on our charge account. I have the money to pay it off, but I would rather that money earn interest than give it to Disney just yet.

Does anyone know how the same as cash works?
