Just a long shot, but has anyone seen any decent sign up offers for the Visa? Just the basic free card, not the Premiere. The only one I can find is for a $50 statement credit. Do they not do gift cards anymore? Back when i signed up for mine, I got a $200 Disney gift card. I have searched but all I can find is the $50 and a few expired offers.

I've only seen the $50 statement credit but I haven't been looking too closely. I actually prefer a statement credit over a gift card because it gives me more flexibility. You could always buy a gift card in the amount of the signup bonus and then use the statement credit to pay it off. Plus, you'd earn Disney reward dollars on the purchase of the gift card.

That's a good idea. I wish it was a little more but something's better than nothing. I'm mostly just afraid that after my husband applies for his own card that they will decide to release a new, higher offer! lol

I had a $200 gift card and a bonus $50 if I added someone to my account not too long ago. It was for the basic card.

We just got this same offer in the mail. We actually got it a few days after our Magic Bands arrived, but the offer came addressed to "The ****** Family" with a totally different last name than what our reservation is under. So, I'm not sure if our upcoming trip triggered it or if it was completely random and coincidental. Honestly, there are many more cards with much better offers, but it would be fun to have a card with the castle on it :)

I received the $200 gift card plus $50 gift card offer in the mail a while back and applied for it myself and got accepted and then applied for my husband and got accepted. Each of us spent $500+ on getting a repair done on our boat that we had already saved up cash for and paid it off last month and we received $500 worth of gift cards the other day! So that has helped this trip out tremendously! Great offer if you can get it!

This is the offer I took advantage of a few months back and its still good. Its at the bottom of the page for disney cruise site and I would imagine wdw site too. Its essentially a $200 credit to you account after you spend over $500 in your first 3 months. This is the premier card. I wish it were for a gift card but Ill take statement credit too.

Yes this is the one I've seen, I just wish it was for the basic card. I don't a card with an annual fee. Oh well I just need to decide if we are going to apply for hubby's card with the $50 credit or wait and see if anything better comes around. Thanks for the replies!

I got an offer from Disney Visa for a $200 gift card & $50 if I added someone to my account. I am just wondering how long it takes for those gift cards to arrive? Are they pretty quick about it?

I got mine pretty fast. When I applied I went ahead and signed up my husband up for the other authorized card user and then spent over $500 on a boat repair. Before I received my first monthly statement I had already received my 2 gift cards in the mail.

The Disney card has a few perks, but nothing super. You can get a special meet and greet.

10% off purchases over $50 at retail shops.
20% off some guided tours.
private character meet-and-greet

There are a few more, but those are the main ones. I would not waste a hard pull on the card unless I had nothing better to sign up for. If you have opened less than 5 cards in the past 24 motnhs you are much better off opening up a different chase card like the Sapphire preferred (55k UR bonus) or Ink (60k UR Bonus).

If you have opened more than 5 cards in the last two years look at AMEX or CITI products. You are sure to find one with a signup bonus worth $500+.

I would be easily swayed to get this card if the $250 offer was still around, but I can't find it :(

I only know of an existing $200 gift card offer, found a few people post on Facebook on it. I haven't gotten one of those offers to refer people in a long time.

My husband has the rewards visa and I am an authorized user. Yesterday he received referral codes for the 200.00 gift card for signing up and he would get 50.00. I was thinking about doing it and then canceling the card after I received my card because we don't need two but the 200.00 would be nice. I have good credit but wondered if anyone else has done this? Does your credit score take a big hit? Would I even get it considering I am already authorized on one of them?

I applied for two credit cards in May and my credit score dropped 25 points. It is still well above 740 so it isn't a big deal to me. From what I've read it recovers fairly quickly as well.

Anyone know if you already have the Disney Visa No Annual Fee card, if you can apply for the Disney Premier Visa card and get the $200 statement credit? I know it says about not being allowed if you've applied in the last two years, but this would be a separate card.
