I've been thinking about applying for one. I want to earn some points for our next trip- plus the no financing for 6 months on trips sounds great. I've heard some people say it's not worth it. Any opinions? Thanks ::MickeyMo

We got one and with our trip quickly approaching I am glad that we did it. We have earned close to $100.00 and every bit counts.
The only real shock was that they charged a huge fee for when we paid using paypal with it they considered it a cash advance (even though we pay off our balance every month) it was still a high interest rate for the "so called cash advance". Never had that problem with the other credit card.
We now no not to use it for paypal.

I love mine. I mainly use it to finance our WDW trips but the reward money earned is easy to use at Disney and so far haven't had any problems with them whatsoever. I would!
BTW, I've already earned more reward $ using this Visa card than I ever did using Discover's cash back bonus award.

I just applied today. I'd rather keep my money in savings earning a bit of interest for myself. I'll take advantage of their 6 months no interest plan and pay it off at the last second. Plus the dis rewards is a cool feature.

We have one, but we never use it. Our other CCs offer much better rewards. We got the Dinsey Visa a couple of years ago when they offered $100 Disney Dollars if you used it to book your vacation. I haven't seen anything close to that ever since.

We have one - use it for all purchases - pay it off every month. So far this year we've earned $400 in Disney Bucks....I think it's well worth it :thumbsup2

Jenny :)

I have one that I use for things that I won't get 5% back with my other rewards card. It's nice for the disney rewards but there are better reward cards out there.

It's great. Last time, we ate for free the entire time because the Rewards card paid for everything. Then, I had some left over and bought myself some pajamas from the online store when I got home.

My parents have them and I have one linked to their account as well (used for picking up perscriptions or doing groceries for my mom, etc.). Ours are definitely well worth it; the Disney Visa is the only credit card my parents have and they charge EVERYTHING and then some to it and pay off the balance every month. Last year, the park tickets for a family of four were covered because of money built up.

We love ours. Use it for everything. We pay it off every month.
We gone to Disney twice now with over $500 on it.

i have one, but dont use it. as others have said, the rewards percentage is quite low. at 1% it would take you charging 10,000 bucks to gain 100 bucks.

If you are going to have a CC at all, this is a good one to have. It is our only CC, and we just got it last month. We don't believe in being in debt, but I convinced DH that if we pay it off in full every month, and just use it for Disney-related expenses, it's basically getting free money for our next Disney trip. I think it's a good deal.

When I read this (I have one too) and then read others having $400 or $500 (twice) rewards I'm thinking that's *a lot* of charging!!! Even if you pay it off every month. To get $1000 in rewards, you need to (unless they have double dollars) SPEND $100,000!!!

That must be something new because I have used mine for Paypal in the past many times and never had this fee. :confused3 I know what not to do in the future though.

I do have a feeling ours may be cancelled soon though. My mom was just notified by Citibank that they will not be renewing her credit card "due to business reasons." My mom pays hers off every month, but has racked up over $600 in points on this card in the past two years. This was not a Disney card - but an AT&T card.

We're building a house right now, and we're running alot through our Disney card and then paying it off with the construction loan simply to get the Disney points. We always pay ours off every month too, and we've already accumulated around $400 in points in the past few years. This year we should reach the max they allow, and I imagine they won't be real pleased with us. :teeth:

I've never had a fee charged to use it with PayPal. It just appears on the statement with the seller's name as the merchant.

Me too - that's what mine always looked like too.
