Disney Visa Rewards Redemption

It has been a long time since I cashed in points. It used to be you could cash in at the MK in guest relations. Anyone cash them in lately and is it still the same? They give you a card with the point cash on them to spend

You can order a Rewards Redemption card online or by phone -- if you have time for it to be mailed, it takes a good 4-6 weeks to get the card. But then points can be transferred immediately right before or even during your vacation.

If you are onsite at WDW, I believe you can get a Redemption card at Guest Relations at each park or DTD. It will be an empty card and you'll need to transfer your points.

We did it at Guest Relations. The CM called Disney Visa and handed us the phone to conduct the transaction.

This was for a very last minute trip. If you have time, call ahead and have the card mailed to your home to save time in line at Guest Relations. You can add to the card anytime during your trip but calling the number on the back of your visa card.

I picked up a new redemption card at MK in May. It was blank and I had to call to put rewards $$ on it. Whole process took less then 15 minutes.

We did this just last week. Went to Guest Relations at DTD. They asked for the credit card and an photo ID then handed me an envelope with a rewards card. I had to call Chase and have them transfer the reward dollars. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes.
