Disney Visa Rewards Dollars ????

OK...i have requested the Disney Rewards Card and transferred my available "dollars" in anticipation of our trip in March and I need some guidance. We have booked a room only reservation at Yacht & Beach. We are planning to buy our 5 day park hopper's from AAA. We don't need water park passes, have some left from previous trips. Can we just apply our reward balance to the room cost at check-in? If not, where in the "World" will our rewards be accepted?

sure you can. I have used them at check in and for MVMCP tickets.

I used them to buy souvenirs in the shops on Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom. It was very easy. You just present the card and use it like a credit card. Any remaining balance stays on the card, and you can use it at the next shop. Have fun!

Basically you can use them Anywhere "in the world".
We used ours for our wedding anniversary dinner. Can't wait to use our new one's on our next trip.

Thanks everyone! I just wanted to make sure. I wanted to make sure there were no surprises. DH wasn't thrilled about getting another credit card, so I want to look like I know what I'm doing!!!!

our Reward card for souvenirs, snacks and a towel after Kali River Rapdis! I know some give it to their kids and that is their Disney money for the trip. We never found any place that would not take it although some have said some of the smaller carts could not. A CM there said that soon, even the smaller carts would be able to take the Reward cards as well as regular credit cards.

Question - we are going to purchase Annual Passes at Downtown Disney before we check-in. Can we use them to pay for the passes???

I charged everything to my room when I was there, then used my Reward $'s to pay for as much as I could - then used my credit card for the difference.

Thanks for the info too, as I was just wondering about the Disney rewards card and just transferred all available to my rewards card. Lord have mercy but I can't wait to spend it!!!
