Disney Visa Rewards Card

Has anyone used the new rewards card instead of the certificate money earned for using the Disney Visa card? I don't think I have the terminology right here, but you know what I mean, I hope. My understanding is that the $ you earn for using your DVisa will be put on a Disney gift card. Does the ship accept this card?

On our 10/26 cruise, we used both the certificates and the gift card from Disney Visa with no problem. Just take it to Guest Services and they will scan the card and put the money on your account. We did not have any problems! Have a great cruise!
