Is it possible to book a vacation package using the Disney Visa Rewards latest offer of getting ticket upgrades and still have one person not get a ticket, say because that person has an AP? And can that person get an AP discount on the hotel stay if it is offered at the time, while the others get the ticket upgrade from the Disney Visa program? I'm thinking I will have to choose one discount over the other, what do you think? :scratchin

Your question is better posed on the resort board; however, I'll try to answer for you.

To qualify for the Disney Visa offer, you must be booking a WDTC package that includes tickets for EVERY MEMBER of the travel party. Furthermore, every member of the party is required to have the SAME ticket. Theoretically you could have one person purchase an AP but they would still have a ticket from the package in addition to their pass.

As far as applying an AP discount (if offered) to the package - it cannot be done. One is a package; the other is a room only reservation. You may use one or the other but not both.

So basically, your thoughts are  correct - you will need to choose one program or the other. You may not combine both.
