Disney visa reward question

This is probably a stupid question but can someone explain the credit on monthly statement when you purchase your airline tickets with Disney visa? Say my airline tickets are $1000 are they saying I would get a $20 credit? But I already have to have $50 disney reward points to do it? I’m new to the whole Disney Visa thing!

Details on how to get a statement credit are here. You need to have at least 50 Disney Rewards Dollars available to transfer for statement credit. DO NOT transfer the dollars onto a rewards card. You're basically using your Disney Rewards Dollars to help pay for your airfare instead of whatever else you would use them for.

This option is only available on the Disney Premier VISA card.
