I saw a site yesterday where you can get $50 for signing up for a disney visa... my question is... if say one of my parents signed up for the card... used it a few times, got the $50 ... could they give the reward card of $50 to me for my upcoming trip or do you have to show your actual disney visa and/or ID?

Also... I you cancel your card, do the rewards on the card still work until they are completely used up?

I've never been asked for ID, but then I've never used the rewards card in the parks. Here's my suggestion if you have a Disney store near you--get the rewards card, then go the Disney store and buy Disney dollars with your reward card. Then you can cancel the credit card without any worries.

We used the reward card in the parks a few weeks ago and never was asked for the Visa card or ID.

can i ask what site? I am looking at the DisneyVisa site and I only see $25.00 offered, not $50.00

I thought I saw somewhere that it's possible for family members to combine rewards. I wish I would have signed my husband and I up for separate accounts.

I called yesterday with the intent of signing up for the Disney Visa and receiving the $50 credit. A phone message states that they are no longer taking applications for this promo. Called customer no-service several times and no one could help, most were unaware of the promo!

Anybody else having trouble?
