Disney Visa Reward Dollars ???

Called today and I was told it takes about 2 1/2 weeks to get card. They also told me to order the card and if the billing cycle closes right before I need the points that I could call and have the remaining points transferred instantaneously. CS said I could be at MK and call and the points would be on my card by the time I hung up the phone. My advise, order the card and transfer any remaining reward dollars right before your trip.

I wouldn't risk ordering it. There are 2 things you can do.

1. Go to Guest Services in any of the parks or DTD, show them your Chase and an ID and they will give you a rewards card. Then you call a 1-800 number and they transfer the funds immediately. They have a Mickey phone at Guest Services you can use to make the call.

2. You can order the card now (as long as you have the mininum- I think $20), transfer more funds as they become available to the card just before you leave. I typically will transfer funds to a card more than once during a vacation.

Cool, I never tried ordering it online. Usually we collect at Disney, but will try the same this time.

You won't lose points if you know how to use them. If you won't be returning to Disney by the expiration date of the points, you can use them to order from the online Disney store. You can also use them to purchase Disney merchandise at Walmart and Target (I believe) and at theaters to see Disney movies. You have to go to the Rewards Points website for this info and follow the directions. I haven't done it myself but thought it was great to know they won't go to waste.
