Disney Visa Refer a Friend ?

I read on here about the Disney Visa "refer a friend" promotion. I have a family member that wants to open a Disney Visa for a upcoming trip. I called Chase and I have not been offered this promotion and they said there is no way to know when/if it will be sent to me. Is there anyone out there that has an extra code I can send to them? Of course the $200 GC is much better than the $50 they are offering for signing up. They can't wait for me to maybe, someday get offered the promotion. Please PM if you can help.

Disney visa is a credit card by chase. You earn 1 disney dream dollar for every $100 spent. You can use them to pay for your trip, use while you are in disney or at the disney store.

That is for the basic card. There is also apreier card that earns 2% back on certain purchases.

So that means that if I put $6k in gas and groceries before our trip that will get me double the Disney Dream Dollars or $1200?

2% of $6,000 is $120.

$6K in spending on gas and groceries would net you $120, not $1200, in Disney Dream Dollars. You're getting 2% back, not 20%.

No.

1% of $100 is $1, not 10¢.

Think of it this way. The word centum is Latin for 100. One percent (per centum) means one for every hundred. Get it?

there is a $200 statement credit offer on the website your friend could use. its at the bottom on the Disney Home page

There's no need for a referral (which, as a pp pointed out, is verbotten on the disboards). There is a link on the disneyworld.disney.go.com website. Scroll about halfway down. The offer is on the left side.

The difference is that the card on the Disney site is the Premier with the annual fee, and the one people are getting referrals for is the regular card with no fee.
