If you purchase park tickets with a Disney Visa, is there a discount?

No. But you can use your rewards towards the purchase of tickets (just need to get a redemption card) or if you use your Visa you'll earn 2% on the purchase. IF you opened a new card and are going to receive the $200 credit, that is for any purchases, not just Disney.

I see. I'm trying to figure out if I want to open a Disney card. It seems like it could be beneficial. I wish there was a $200 credit, but it looks like it's a $100 credit for the Premier card and $50 for the regular one. Still, every little bit helps.
I'm going to keep researching and thinking about the Disney Visa. I like the 2% back on certain categories, but since I already have a Chase Freedom card with the rotating 5X categories, I'm not sure if I wouldn't just be better off using that and stashing the cash back rewards to put towards park tickets, etc. That $100 gift card for the Disney card is tempting though, LOL!

I DID just approved for a Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Visa. Woo hoo! 50,000 points should cover our flights for our trip next December! I'm excited!

If you go through Disney world website and scroll to the bottom, the $200 statement credit offer is there.

There are some benefits to the card (some dining discounts, merchandise discounts, meet and greets), but if you already have the Freedom, I would just stick with that. Though, it's fun having the mickey crew on my card!

We recently got the Disney Visa with the $200 gift card offer and then an addition $50 for another person on the account. The way I see it is it was free money and covers tips during our stay, or part of an Annual Pass. Plus it is interest free for 6 months for booking a trip!

Oh, heck yes! I'm getting one then. $200 will pay for our MVMCP tickets!
I'm just starting to get into this whole "using credit cards to get stuff" thing, and I'm like a kid in a candy shop. A responsible kid, but still! Between learning about renting DVC points, the Southwest Visa sign-up bonus points, and now the Disney $200 credit, man! This trip just gets cheaper and cheaper.
I have the DIS to thank for it! Love this place! Thanks, guys!

I got a discount for Mickey's Halloween Party (only good on certain nights) and I was able to use my Disney Visa rewards to get it.

How did you get the $50 for adding a user? Is there a special link to go through? I logged on to my account and clicked on "add a user" and I didn't see any offers for $50. Maybe I missed the promotion??
