Disney Visa Question

Hi! We have the Disney Visa and have used it to purchase a prior Disney vacation with the 6 months 0% APR promotion. Does this special financing apply to any Disney vacations purchased or just when you first open the card? We are planning to book another trip this week and would love to take advantage of that financing offer again!

The 0% financing offer is a regular perk of the card and applies to packages paid for with the Disney Visa. Here are the details from the website:

As an ongoing card perk, you get special vacation financing (a promotional APR of 0% for 6 months) on select Disney vacation packages, Disney cruises, Adventures by Disney® packages and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawai'i vacation packages purchased with your Disney Visa® Card through the Walt Disney Travel Company, your travel agent or online at Disney sites. Yes, it has to be a package reservation - either room+tickets, with or without dining, or one of the special room+dining packages. Room-only reservations are not eligible, nor are individual ticket purchases from Disney.

But, if you do a package, every payment you make qualifies for the 6-months no-interest. The $200 deposit, the payoff, and any interim payments you make.

Where do you find the code that you need to enter for the special financing? I've used by Disney Visa before thinking that was enough but apparently it is not.

I've never had to enter a code to get the 0% financing offer, it just automatically occurs. I believe there is a minimum of $100 (or maybe (over $100 so $101) to trigger. But again, it has to be a package; room-only or tickets bought separate doesn't qualify. I also think it doesn't work if you purchase through a vendor like Expedia or Orbitz.

I don't have enough $ on my Disney visa for the complete package price. Can I split it with another card and get the 0% on the Disney visa portion?

As long as the amount you charge to the Disney Visa is over the minimum (which I believe is $100) then that amount will qualify for the 0%.

Does anybody know? I've booked a package with room/tickets/dining online. Initial deposit was done using my Disney Rewards card I got from my Disney points. If I pay the balance off with my Disney Visa will it automatically apply the 0% for 6 months?

Yes, whatever payment you make (like a PP said, I think the minimum is $100), will get the 0% for 6 months, as long as it's a package reservation.
