Not sure if this is the correct place for this, if not please move if necessary :)

I'm wondering about booking a trip w/ our Disney visa. Can I just book the deposit with the disney visa and then pay the balance with the disney visa at the 45 day mark? And if so when would the 6 months with no interest start, when I pay the deposit or when I pay the balance at 45 days? Or do I have to pay in full with our disney visa at the time I book? I hope my questions make sense. TIA everyone!

You can put the deposit on the Disney Visa and then have 6 months to pay it off. If you pay the balance of the deposit off, before you have to pay the balance off, you will get another 6 months to pay off your balance (so in theory you could have 1 year to pay off your trip) Hope that answered your question!

Yes that answered my question! With an even better answer than I hoped for! Thanks so much for help:goodvibes

Alright, I want to make sure I get it. When I use the disney visa to pay the deposit ($200), I get 6 months to pay that off AND when I pay the remaining balance at 45 days I get a seperate 6 months for that. Is that right? I guess the long weekend makes me feel like today is a Monday

Here's how it worked for me.

I paid my $200 deposit on 4/30/10. I have until 10/30/10 (6 months) to pay off that $200.

My 45 day final payment of $1200 was due on 6/5/10 which I paid on that day. I have until 12/6/10 (6 months) to pay off the $1200 portion.

You must make the minimum payment on the card each month in order to keep the 0%.

I use my card for everything and pay it off in full at the end of each month minus the balance of my trip which I wait until the 0% is up for that.

HTH!

I actually just talked to a CM about this on the phone a few weeks ago - the deposit for a package and the remaining balance 45 days out are considered 2 totally separate transactions, and as they are both for Disney packages, they receive the 6 months at 0% APR deal.

They make it so gosh darn easy to spend money :lmao:

WOW!! Your right, they just make it too darn easy. I'm actually suprised that they do that. Seems like they would want to lock you in to paying in full in order to get the 6 months at 0%. But I suppose they just want us all to keep booking trips every 6 months :rotfl: Thanks everyone for your help! :goodvibes
