Disney Visa...Q's about the actual card & gift card offer

I got a mailing today with a $200 gift card offer & I got this bright idea to use that to pay my balance so I'd have the GC to take when we go next month. The only catch is that our travel agent already made the final payment on my AMEX (my final balance is due on 8/4).

So, here are the questions...
1. Once approved, how long does it take for the card to come in the mail (or will they give me the card number over the phone to use immediately)? Can it be overnighted?
2. Can the balance made on my AMEX be credited & made on the Disney Visa?
3. When is the GC issued...after the purchase or after the statement closes?
4. Does my final payment even count towards the $500 purchase needed to get the GC?

Thanks in advance!!

1. Once approved, how long does it take for the card to come in the mail (or will they give me the card number over the phone to use immediately - No)? Typically 7-10 business days Can it be overnighted? Probably not
2. Can the balance made on my AMEX be credited & made on the Disney Visa? If you are past your date, most likely not but you'd have to call your TA that isn't a Disney Visa question
3. When is the GC issued...after the purchase or after the statement closes? After closing, but it takes 6-8 weeks to get it
4. Does my final payment even count towards the $500 purchase needed to get the GC? Yes

Thanks :)

I was hoping that I'd get answers different from what Visa has posted on their website based on personal rxperience.

(not intending that to sound snarky at all, it just comes out that way when typed...I was hoping that someone had success doing what I'm trying to do and could give me hope that it will work to my advantage)

I did call this morning and got approved. Now I'm hoping that it takes less than 10 days to receive the card so my TA can work her magic. Then I've got my fingers crossed that the GC card will be here before I leave in mid-September...a girl can dream, right??? :D

Thanks :)

I am talking from experience.
