Disney Visa promotion?

Member must have had a Disney Visa Card by sometime in spring..I believe June 08..You could ask your guide..I had mine by April, 08 so it wasn't an issue...

You will get $500 Disney Reward Dollars for AKV Kidani promotion if you had the "qualifying" Disney Visa card by the above dates..$500 Reward Dollars..If you are not traveling for 1-2 yrs, my understanding is that you can keep this on your Disney Reward Account, then ask for a Rewards Card closer to travel.

The other promo that was running is a Visa Gift Card for $500 IF YOU WERE REFERRED BY THE MEMBER..THE MEMBER IF IT WAS A FIRST TIME REFERRAL IN CALENDAR YR GOT $200....

YOU CANNOT GET BOTH PROMOS..EITHER OR!

Our statement closed yesterday and we still do not have our reward dollars. This is the third complete billing cycle since we were told we did qualify for the rewards. That promo ended yesterday, too.

Now with all of the new announcements it will be a nightmare to try to get in touch with my guide. And I seriously doubt he will want to mess with my reward dollars on my closed sale when there are people who want to buy new contracts.

I did phone my guide today. He looked us up in the system and found where our info had been submitted to Chase, so he's not sure what the problem is. He is going to follow up with someone else at DVC and also contact Chase and get back with us. He said it might just take one more billing cycle, but they are going to look into it. So that's something!

Our guide left a voice mail yesterday that our reward dollars should be on our next statement. Of course our statement doesn't close until 10/15, so we won't know anything for quite awhile! Hopefully everyone who was told they were eligible will see the rewards in the next month or so.

I am very confused. Do you only get the $500 dream reward dollars if you use you Disney Visa for the down payment or do you just need to have a Disney Visa card to receive them? Also, must you have a completed sale (have done your closing) or can your purchase be in process with a down payment by Sept. 15 to receive these reward dollars? TIA.

Yes, you did have to be a Disney Visa cardholder AND use that Visa to pay for the down payment.

I would be pretty sure your contract date had to be before 9/16, not your closing date.

My contract date was 6/21/08, deed date was 6/30/08, recording/close date was 7/22/08. I got my 500 reward dollars on my 9/12/08 statement.

I think ours is messed up because we had already closed when they announced the offer. The October statement will be the fourth billing cycle for us.
