Disney Visa private room at Epcot?

Hello All,

I vaguely remember the podcast team talking about a private room at Epcot for Disney Visa card holders. I thought they said it was above American Adventure. Anybody know if this is still there? If so, I'd appreciate knowing all the details, I.e. where it is, how to access, times, etc.

I think you are referring to the Chase Lounge. Yes, its in the American Pavilion. Ask any CM as you go in the main door.

It is indeed the Chase lounge. I'm not sure it is operational all year, but it is definitely operational during the Food & Wine festival when the festival is sponsored by Chase. Usually it is at the America pavilion in the building that houses the show. If you're facing the building (outside), head to right of the main doors. There's an elevator there and then to the right is a door to stairs. Both the elevator and the stairs lead up to the lounge. They have soft drinks, little treats, restrooms, comfy counches, etc. No charge, stay as long as you like. On Mondays during F&W they provide wristbands for reserved seating for some of the Eat To The Beat shows. The lounge opens when World Showcase opens. All you need to enter the lounge is your Chase card. Disney Visa is issued through Chase so everyone with one of those is covered. However even if you don't have a Disney Visa, you can enter with just your debit card if you bank with Chase. Basically as long as it says Chase somewhere on your card, you're covered. On some occasions in recent years though, the lounge has moved locations temporarily so check with Guest Services as you enter the park just to make sure it's in the usual place.

We went down once and it was in the Wonders building and the next year it was at American Adventure. The bigger question is this something they will open when Innoventions West Closes at the end of the month and the photo site closes.

Thanks for your replies! We are heading down next week and wanted to check it out. Sounds like it will be a maybe. It's flower and garden time, so we might get lucky. We'll look for it and report back on our findings.

Just curious - I have not read this before - when you say the photo site closes, are you referrign to the special photo opportunity for Chase Disney VIsa cardholders? I am hoping to go at the end of this month, beginning of next month. Do you have a link to more information about this?

I don't have a link but it is my old work location so all my old coworkers are talking about it. Innovations West is closing at the end of this month and that is the location of the photo opportunity. There are also many locations on the East side that have closed as well, but no place they could put the photo location because non of them have direct access to backstage.

They should open up Horizons again as a Visa Card Club joint.

God I hope they keep it at American Adventure. It is a much better location then Horizons is. It is much bigger, more seating, and more relaxing then Horizons ever was.

This lounge is typically only open during F&W festival. Usually Chase will announce it on their web site or in your statement. We were just there for flower show and it was not open that I could see in America.

Yes as long as someone has the card you can go in. I have taken in people who were not my family, but were with my group.
