Disney Visa points are good at????

Greetings,

It's been awhile since I've been here. I did remember my name and password. I have quite a few Disney dollars on my visa. I'd like to go to WDW but I'm not sure if my wife and adult children want to, so I am wondering where else can I use my disney visa points. My son said disneyland (flights are too high), my wife said a criuse (maybe), my daughter and son in law are with me me, the world. We could out vote mom and son but I thought I'd at least ask. Disney shop on line, any Disney store in the malls...but I would overrule the wife and go to WDW. Tell the wife that you are treating her and the kids to a special trip. Use that angle...has to work better than the truth.

they are good anywhere. We applied them to our resort stay at AKL and everything we charged to the romm was paid by the reward points.

You can use them for anything owned and operated by DISNEY. I say Disney cruise or World. World would be cheaper.

Do you have a regular Visa or the premier? If you have the premier, you can actually use the points as a credit against any airline tickets. You can get the amount as a credit against the charge on your Visa.

I think I have a regular visa. I'm a charter member so I don't think there was a premier when I got the card. I think there use to be other disney resorts other than at the dl and wdw?? Is there one at Hilton Head?

There's Disney resorts at Hilton Head, Vero Beach, and one in Hawaii.

Thanks for the replies. I think we'll do WDW, we can't go wrong there. I've called a number a couple of times and the agents just wants to sell me packages and can't really break the cost down for me. I use to call and just book a room with park hopper passes and they can't really help me with that. Probably just haven't got the right person yet.

A room with tickets IS a package. Your options are Room Only, or Package, which is (Room + anything else)

Thanks wolverine, I know how much the park hopper passes are. I was calling to find out just what the room rate and availability was with the discount code I was sent for 6/27 - 9/4. The email code had a link but it wasn't working. I got a code for the fall (Sept, Nov, & Dec) and it worked. I would ask? "How much for a room per night from xx/xx to xx/xx with this code #?", and they couldn't tell me a per night cost, they'd give me a total which included meals, park passes, photo something or other, and insurance, then I'd have to say take off everything except the room, then I wasn't sure what the per night cost was because sometimes Fri and Sat rates are sometimes different. However, the 3rd time I called, a bright young lady names Rory told me exactly what I was wanting to know. Thank You Rory.
