Can you still get a Disney visa photo in Epcot, this was one free photo with characters if you had a Disney Visa card?? We did this on our last trip, is it still Available? THANKS.....

It was suppose to end Sept 30, 2006 (it was a perk for the Happiest Celebration on Earth) but was extended another year to Sept 30, 2007. We'll have to see if they'll be extending it again.

where/what exactly is this? We have a disney Visa, but have never heard of this.

It's the Disney Visa character meet and greet at Epcot.
You get one free 5x7 photo per account.
It's held daily from 1:30p to 4:30p at Epcot's Innovation's West near the firetruck.

The characters change every 20 minutes but are usually 2 or 3 of the Fab 5.

You must show your Disney Visa and they will record the last 4 digits of the account #.
Then they hand you a voucher to redeem for your free photo.
Once you are in the room, they will take Photopass photos and put them on your Photopass card. You can also take your own photos as well.
You must go and pick your one free photo BEFORE you leave Epcot for the day.

This is a perfect description of how it works!!!!! :thumbsup2

My family and I did this 3 weeks ago and that's exactly how it went.

Are you allowed one photo per visit? Just curious if you were to go and spend 2 days at Epcot could you do the meet and greet and get the one photo, but return the next time to take your own photos or use photo pass to purchase instead? TIA!!:) Should explain - that's a tough time of day for my 3.5 yo - he ususally hits major grumpy status around then - just was wondering if his mood is better on day 2, it might be a better oppourtunity.:confused3

My family and I spent 2 days at EPCOT, and we went once each day for the Disney VISA picture. They will even give you the free 5x7 for each day, so you will get 2 free 5x7's if you go on two separate days.

And you are always allowed to take your own pictures in addition to the PhotoPass pictures.

Good luck with "Grumpy Jr!" :)

Thanks for the info! I was wondering too.

Could you please tell me what characters have appeared for the photos?

from my photopass primer:

For Disney Visa cardholders, a special free private meet & greet is offered daily at Epcot. Located in the Innoventions West building, just past the Where’s The Fire? and Play It Safe exhibits is a curtained off area. Guests with card in hand may join the line for their own private meeting with 2 or 3 of the fab five. Not only will there be a PhotoPass photographer onhand to take as many photos as you wish, but each account (up to 2 accounts per family) is entitled to a free 5x7 print available later at the Camera Center. While each account is limited to one print a day, cardholders are free to visit multiple days of their vacation if they wish. Currently this offer is set to expire on 9/30/07, but originally it was meant to end 9/30/06, so it’s anyone’s guess if it gets extended once more.

it's strictly fab five (that's donald, goofy, minnie, mickey, pluto). personally, i've had mickey & pluto, goofy & minnie and goofy, minnie & mickey

Thank you!!!:goodvibes He has quite the attitude these days, and if he were just a tad taller, he'd be employable as his namesake!!!;) I'm hoping that we'll be moving out of this "phase" by the time we make our trip in Sept - my only fear is what comes next!! The "I can do it myself" phase!!!:sad2: It could take us forever to get anywhere with that action going on!!!:rotfl2: Thanks for the photo tips - I'm so excited - :woohoo:
