Can someone tell me exactly where to go to have the photo taken? And times? And photo pick up location?

TIA

When I last did it in January, it was in dca, just past the monsters inc ride. The times were 11:30-1:30. The picture was ready w/in a couple of hours in the main photo shop on buena vista blvd.

Its kinda tucked in the corner over by Monsters Inc. and the Mad T Party secondary stage. There is a sign posted to let you know its there. Its worth it, if you can remember. The last couple of trips, we have forgotten about it! ugh!

Thank you both, I know exactly where it is. We were in line for monsters inc and I could see there was a special meet n greet going on but didn't investigate what it was. But now I know.

How does this work? You just show your Disney Visa? My mom has one, so I will try to remember about this! There are 6 of us, will that be an issue?

No issue with the amount of people. One person in the party has to show a Disney Visa or Debit card for all in the party to do the M&G.

The photo is scanned to your Photopass card. You just go to the photo shop on BVS, choose the M&G photo you want and they print it for you.

This is partially true. I agree that a party of 6 won't have a problem (we had a party of 7), but I do think there might be restrictions on how many people as you get higher in numbers. They did scan the photo to our photopass card, but they also gave us a slip of paper we had to turn in at the photo shop on BVS that day.

Thanks Girimama33 and DisneyJamieCA! If I have PP+, will that work in the same way or does that even matter? I'm new to PP+. :goodvibes

I have done the M&G with 18 people before...
Sorry that I missed the part about the coupon you get. I thought the understanding was already there that you receive a voucher for the printed photo.

Good to know about the number of people! I thought I had read something about "for parties under x people" but maybe I'm wrong. Or they don't enforce it.

I was just clarifying the process about the voucher since it seems as not everybody has actually been through the process. And I know in the past they've allowed you to pick from any photo on your card, where I've read more recently they are enforcing the free picture be the one from the M&G.

And to the OP, photopass+ works the same way :)

I haven't seen a minimum # of people for the photo, but it would not surprise me if there was one.

I am glad you remembered to include the voucher part because for whatever reason..I assumed it was a know part of the process, but I know that is not the case for some...especially if it is their first time doing it. :goodvibes

Also, you can have more than one picture taken, BUT you only get one picture for free with the voucher. My partner and I got pictures with Stitch. I had one, then my partner, and then the both of us. We got the one of both of us for free and bought the other two.

We just returned and here's what I know from a few days ago. The hours are 1030-130 by Monsters Inc. They rotate Minnie and Stitch, but are planning on changing the character rotation in the future. Minnie seems to start first, then at the half hour they switch. They told me the meet and greet was good for a party up to 6, but they might fudge it if you talk sweet to the host. They give you a voucher that has to be used that day to print the free photo, but all the photos can go on a photo pass and if it's a pp+, you will get the free download of all the pictures taken. They say you must choose a photo from the meet and greet, but I feel like they might be flexible on this. It's a great way to get a character meet without a long wait and a real money saver, especially if you don't have a pp+.

They are actually not flexible on using the voucher for a non-visa M&G photo. They used to be flexible, along with the redemption date and even the park (now you can only redeem at DCA) but they tightened the rules up about 7-8 months ago. The only exception I've found (which has to be done by a lead) is if your pictures have not yet uploaded and you are leaving for the day. IME they first offer to extend the date but since I would not be back they let me pick a photo from another time (although not from WDW)
