Hi Everyone. I received disney visa offer with $25 in disney dollar rewards yesterday but cannot find it anywhere. Desperation has led me into the garbage pails but alas, still no application. Would someone be kind enough to reply with the 1-800# or any other info of their card that they think might put me in touch with someone able to provide me with another application? Thanks for your help. I found myself thinking of the many ways I could rack up $$ between now and the end of NOvember when 1) I leave for WDW and 2) the 0% ends. Any opinions on the card are welcome as well.

you can go to disneycruiseline.com or disney.com i am sure you can get the info there & fill out the application , i think they are only offering $15 disney store gift card now. you could check out a bank one bank or visit them online too. ;)

Try this website to get 50 free reward dollars. The offer says you have to apply, be approved and use your DV by 6/30/05.

www.50disneyrewards.com or call

1-888-298-4284 and mention code 34Q4

Do the banana bounce with me!!

Thanks weluvdisny, that's just what I was looking for and I was able to fill out the app online this a.m. Now that I'm reading it a bit closer, it looks like the 0% is on the vacation package only, which I will be purchasing this week anyways, but I was hoping to rack up disney reward dollars on other major expenses as well. Oh well, I'll have to read the fine print when the card arrives. Thanks again.

Well, the card arrived and I started using it yesterday. Today I decided to call and verify information like billing cycle, payment due date, fees, interest rates, $50 reward. Turns out I read it wrong and it is 0% for six months but for some reason they don't have me applying for the "$50 reward" card. TOld me I had to go back to the application origin and find out if there was a code or not. Needless to say, I've printed out the first page and reread all the info. I did indeed apply for the $50 card so I'll call back tomorrow and find out what's going on. Why is it anytime I think an offer is too good to be true it is? :confused3

it does say after your first purchase. Have you made a purchase yet? I am sure it will take a couple of weeks after that.

I am having the same problem with Disney Visa. I did not get the $25 applied toward my card and when I called them about it they said I applied for some other lesser offer and would review my request but it would take ten weeks. Sorry but this should not take ten weeks.

I kept all the info from when I applied but that seems to be of no use when speaking to them.

I e-mailed them three weeks ago, to their address which they claim they respond to all mail in a maximum of two days, but of course I have recieved no response.

Can you say.... BAIT AND SWITCH

I applied for my DH with the $50 online offer.

The gave us the 50 disney points on our first statement with a purchase.

MICKEEP: I called today with the web page in my hand to verify that I had indeed applied for the $50 reward offer. I began my conversation with "I hope you have kept record of my last two telephone calls to Chase within the last few days because the time I have spent trying to resolve this has cost me more than the reward $ themselves. I gave her the code which was supposedly only necessary if you called to apply over the phone. After being asked to hold for about 5 minutes, rep did come back to the phone and stated that it had been corrected and that the reward dollars would take approximately 8-10 weeks after first purchase (which was yesterday) to to appear on my statement. That's fine so long as it does appear.

I have to say that when I have to follow up offers like these numerous times that it becomes frustrating and hardly worth the effort :sad2: Hopefully, all will work out in this regard.

Another issue though: I had read that many people were paying mortgages and stuff with the card. I had made a list of all the monthly expenses I intended to put on the card and pay-off at months' end but most will not accept a credit card, like my mortage, overdraft balance, AMEX, so they only things going on are my vacation ((worth $26), a couple of outstanding bills I had (worth $5), and food/purchases each month for the next five months. I'm certainly not complaining, it'll probably add up to $100 or more and that for sure will come in handy :Pinkbounc

Since gas for the car is costing us about $40 a week. I've started putting it on the card too and paying off at the end of the month. I could kick myself for forgetting to charge our deposit on our car last month though....

Sadly our mortgage co doesn't allow cc payment but our satellite co does.

Thanks GoofyForLife: Gas right now costs me about $50/week so that's $2/monthx5, every little bit helps!

I checked with my electric company and other bills I pay every month and found out that I can pay my cable (which is about $100), my car/boat/camper registrations with DV and my AOL so I just pay it off each month.

I did just have a problem with DV. An earlier post from someone suggested you call and ask if you can get your rate lowered. So I called in March and then received a letter saying my rate was lowered. So I'm all set, right? Wrong!! :sad2: My March statement didn't reflect the change. I thought ok, that's cuz I called in the middle of a billing cycle. So on my April statement I was suprised to find the old rate still there. I immediately called CS and was transferred to a nice woman who said that she couldn't do anything because the computer said I have the new rate already (which I DIDN'T) and I couldn't request a new one for 6 months!! I got worried until she came back on the line after discussing it with a supervisor and said she would take care of it and refund the interest for March and April. I checked yesterday and the refund is there. :)

And just to let you know, I was at McDonald's the other day and they had a CC/Debit card machine there to use!! Now it's even easier to eat there! Isn't that great?! :rotfl2:

We use the Disney Visa and pay it off every month before there is a finance charge. Otherwise you are paying more on finance charges than you are getting in rewards. Unless you always live with a cc balance and can't get a better rate (which I doubt) this makes no sense. So many other reward cards offer a bigger reward, but I picked the DV because it means no one will argue with me about what to use the reward for :)
