We have had a Disney Visa for going on five years now. We have never received a special offer of any kind (other than the special pins). My husband uses it everyday for work so it isn't like it sits idle. What is it going to take for us to get a special deal? :confused3 Sorry, just a vent-I am tired of this long, cold winter and can't wait until our next trip to Disney!:thumbsup2

There was free dining for Visa cardholders and a discount on the room Oct-Dec. last year. I never got an email about it, others posted it here.

Venting is always permitted. :goodvibes

Do you ever go to the website to see what offers are available? Every once in awhile, there are offers that come through that way. Often, the same offers are released to the general public within a week or so, but you get a head start. Also, you should have build up a significant number of reward dollars to use. For me, that's almost good enough. I typically get a few nights of our resort paid for with the rewards. We also always make a point of getting a photo at Epcot for the Disney Visa holders. Sure, it's not a free trip or anything, but it's not nothing.

That is true, certainly not nothing! Those reward dollars are nice, we actually used them for all of our spending money last time. We joke when my hubby has a business trip and call them "$15 Disney trip" or whatever the amount is. I do check the credit card website but was hoping to get a discount on rooms as some point. When we went last time our friends had a bounceback offer in their room but we didn't. It is going to be below zero again tonight so it has definitely been a "glass half empty" kind of day. You changed my mood! Thanks for letting me vent!

I totally understand where you are coming from. I just walked into the University I work and go to school at. It was 29 degrees and dropping with 35-40 mph winds. We are hoping for free dining this year again with our Disney Visa in September. I am hoping it will be the plan that includes table service but we will just have to see. That is the only code I have ever gotten to use through our VIsa but as someone else mentioned the Disney rewards are nice.

IMO, they could at LEAST offer the free stroller rental in the World like they do for the Land.

Cardholder benefits:

0% APR for six months on WDW packages charged to Disney Visa

Special meet & greet with characters

10% off purchases over $50 at WDW gift stores

-----------
I am definitely using the 0% apr offer for our upcoming trip in April.

Have you signed up on the web site for e-mails notices?

If you are talking about the special offers for 5Xs the Rewards dollars, I suspect that those offers go to the people who don't usually charge much.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I never use this card except to book a trip every 2-3 years and havent gotten any special offers.

I'm not sure as I haven't used it for this purpose.

But do check on the website, that's where they list the special offers. And once in awhile I get a booklet in the mail, kind of a newsletter, that shows special offers, too.

I think the 0% financing offer is a great deal.

I am just so happy that I am going to have over 500 Visa reward dollars to put on my trip this time. I have been saving for 2 years. We are staying an extra night at the Poly with it.:yay:

That's what we do too. I use it to pay for the resort and it helps alot. I usually get a free night out of it.:)
