Disney Visa members Watching for Nov./Dec. Promo

Any other Disney Visa card members checking the site daily in anticipation of the Free Dining promo to be released to us for Nov./Dec.? I am going nutty waiting and praying that it is released to us for our dates. I need some Pixie Dust!

I'm hoping too. I don't think anything will be released until July though. I'm not checking Disney Visa site daily but I am hawking the Disboards all day, every day!!!!!!!! I need a discount code!

Does anyone know if you have to make a payment with your Disney Visa if you have a reservation booked prior to the promo being released? I know usually they have you put the 200 deposit on your Disney Visa, but we already have our reservation booked will they just have us verify that we are a member?

You will have to use your Disney Visa for the deposit, I believe. We are waiting, too, for a promo. We have already booked, though, since we are pretty set regardless of a promo this year. We have our dining reservations set, although free dining would be great!! But we have a group of 11 so I can't risk waiting to book dining.

Same here, we have 8 so I didn't want to wait. We also booked all our ADR's .... Lucked out and got BOG!!! So excited!

They will verify that you are a cardholder and then they may or may not make you pay $200 towards your balance due.

No, if you are already booked with your Disney Visa, you will not have to put down an initial payment to add the DV FD code to your existing reservation.

You might have to change your room type or even resort if the room type you have booked does not have availability for the discount offer you are trying to apply it to. Always good to have 2nd and 3rd choices. We had 2 standard rooms @ POFQ booked when the FD Pin came out a couple of weeks back and I had to upgrade to Garden View in order to apply the pin to our reservations. Some resort rooms are excluded or have no availability for the particular discount.

I am not stalking the Visa site, because I know how slow they are to post the discounts, but I am waiting for the hopeful public release of November FD. I know it won't be before July though. Seems like such a long way away. If I knew 100% without a doubt it was going to be released, it wouldn't be an issue, but noone knows for sure so it is a wait and see game.

It always gets leaked on here by a TA or a CM or someone in the know. The offer for september FD that came out for DV holders May 6 wasn't even on their site until the afternoon - by then half the Disboards had already booked their free dining ;-)
