Does anyone know if this is a set location/time in each park? I'm sure the answer is on the boards here, but search is currently disabled:sad2:
I'll check back later for (hopefully) an answer. Gotta go to school :teacher:
TIA

Thanks for the info. I'll also check the Chase wesite again although their information seemed to be more general than specific.

Found the information. I was under the impression that there was more than one location. Maybe that's what confused me (it's usuallly pretty easy to do!!)

Yep, it's only at EPCOT. We've gone twice and both times the wait was about 10-20 minutes (both in the month of January, so the crowds were light). But as toomanycars mentions, it's worth the wait. You are guaranteed to meet two characters, and you get plenty of personal, private time. Strangely both times we met Minnie & Goofy.

Toomanycars gave you the correct info. We have been 2 times, our longest wait was about 25 minutes, but there are games and stuff you can use to occupy the kids, no one seemed to mind people leaving and comming back to occupy the kids.

We got to meet, mickey minnie and mickey minnie and goofy, they will put them on your photo pass card, and you can ask them to take one with your camera.

I dont have the Disney Visa. Is it worth it to get it just for this? I was hoping to find an offer with the $200 gift card but havent seen one of those yet.

I have the Disney Visa. I don't know that it is worth it for the character meeting alone, but I do like it.

You get 1% back on all purchases, in the form of a rewards card which can be used like a disney gift card.

Also, you get 10% off purchaces over $50 at some stores in WDW- World of Disney is one of them.

Also-- and I will be using this soon- discount on WDW backstage tours.

Don't take the above details for fact- I may have some wrong, so look it up to get specifics. But, in general these are the benefits.

I love my Disney Visa. It's paying for one meal next trip (27 days!!!) and I didn't use it for anything I wouldn't have bought anyway.

My coworker went to WDW last week and used $1000 in reward dollars while there. She uses her card to pay for everything she buys and then pays it off each month.

I booked out trip on mine and have been using it for everything as well. I already have $50 in rewards :)

Yup, tis true. I just booked DH and I for the Backstage Safari yesterday and I asked if there are any discounts for APs, DVC, Disney Visa or AAA. (we have all). CM said yes, we get a 15% discount with AP, DVC and AAA; but a 20% discount with the DVisa. I was going to pay with the DVisa anyway...so it all worked out! :rotfl:

We like our DVisa for many reasons, the photo is among them. We get one every time we go. I don't think we have ever had fewer than 3 characters any time we have gone. It's nice, you get a private meet and greet with the characters and they usually take time with you and interact very personally. Goofy and DH had a very *ahem* intellectual conversation once that was quite amusing.;)

I mentioned on another thread about the DVisa, it's a great deal if you can discipline yourself to pay it off every month. If not, the interest rates will eat up any benefit. YMMV but buyer beware.
