Hi All:

Does anyone know if they still have the classic characters Meet N Greet in Epcot for Disney Visa cardholders? I'm doing the single digit dance here, and suddenly the offer isn't on the Visa site. Any info?

Yep, they are still doing it. I was there last week and had my pic taken with Mickey and Pluto :)

How do you get this picture? Do I just show my Disney Visa or do I have to get a coupon or something?

Just show your Disney Visa card to the person at the entrance, they will mark you down and you go inside. You have a private meet and greet with certain characters (one time the big cheese, Donald and Pluto, another time others) and you get to interact and there is a photopass photog taking pics (they will also take w/ your camera). The photog gives you a paper that you take to the camera store at the front of EPCOT where you can select which picture you like and get a free 5x7. You get one for each card you have.

Loved it.

Meet & Greet in EPCOT - Invovations WEST (I think - the on on your left when you get past the entrance.

Go into Inovations and head to the back right side of the building.
There will be a line (most likely) for Meet & Greet - it's in the afternoon from 1 PM to 3 PM (ask at ECPCOT info for times).
Your family shows your Visa Card (can only do it once) - you fill out a form, and then wait your turn to go into a room for a family picture with characters.

The characters change - we had Mickey, Donald and Pluto for our picture, June 2006.

I am hoping we can do it a second time April 2007 :goodvibes

Thanks, for the info! I'm writing down all these tips on a paper I keep next to my computer. Then, when we leave in 42 days ( ) I'll be really ready!!!

go on the photopass or do you just have to pick your free photo and purchase others separately?

Actually, if you have alot of pics on your photopass, you are able to choose which one you want for free, it does not have to be the Visa Meet and Greet photo..which was great in my case becasue that particular photo turned out crummy so i chose another on my photo pass.

They all go on your photopass but you only get to choose one to have free. You can get others individually or buy them as part of a CD.

Is that once per day? Once per card holder? Once per trip?

I am not sure how many times you can do it but it is not 1 free pic per card it is 1 free pic per account. For instance both myself and my husband have a card on the same account so we were entitled to 1 free pic. Also we did not have to fill out a form. It also has a limit of 6 people. We had this done 9/27/06. Have fun.

According to the paperwork that came with my card, you can do it one time per day per account. We're going to Epcot two different days, so we're assuming from that that we will get to do it twice.

Does anyone find it strange that it is not listed on the Disney Visa Website any longer? It lists 0 offers for Disney World

I have a question about the Disney Visa, kinda OT, but still related. I'm looking into getting my first CC and want a Disney Visa so bad! But it looks like you need to have credit in order to get it, so my question is: can first-time credit card holders get it or do you need to have established credit already?

Thanks, and sorry for the OT.

my husband and I both have a card.. different numbers and we both get a free pic.. one each day if we went to Epcot more than one day. :goodvibes

We just did this yesterday. We had Mickey, Minnie and Goofy in their blue year of a million dreams clothes. It was great! They took lots of pictures on our photo pass and then we went to the camera center and chose the one we wanted.

You rock for that tip...totally!

I highly recommend the Disney Visa Meet and Greet. We loved being the only family in there with Mickey and Pluto. Mickey and Pluto were down on the floor with the kids. The photopass photographer took so many great shots, even getting things I had missed.

When I went to get my free picture, they were all included on the regular photopass card. But my free picture had to be one of the ones taken during the meet and greet. The cm knew exactly which ones I could choose from.

This was one of the highlights of our trip: Mickey and Pluto all to ourselves!

This makes me so mad. We were there from 10/8 - 10/16 and I had checked the Disney VISA website before we left. When I saw 0 offers, I figured they were no longer doing it since the dates for it used to say through 9/30 anyway. So I never even thought to look for it when we were there. We'll be going again in early September so hopefully they will have it then. Thanks for posting this!
