Has anyone been to the Disney Visa Character Meet & Great? If so, what characters are there? Anything special that they do while you are there?

Anything I should know about the Disney Visa? Special perks at Disney World or anything like that?

My picture from April has Mickey, Donald and Pluto in it. I think that there were 2 other characters also, maybe Goofy and ?.
You also get 10% off at World of Disney in DTD.

:sunny: Can someone please tell me where and when the Disney Visa Meet & Greet takes place? This would be fun for our DD's. Thanks in advance.

The Meet and Greet is in Epcot in the Innovations building, they are only there a few hours at a time. You get a free 5x7 with 3 of the characters.

When I went, it was just Pluto. He looked thoroughly bored after waiting for people to show up, so we spent quite a while goofing around with him. ^_^

Evidently our family is the only one that has ever had to wait to get in to the meet & greet. We had to wait about 30 minutes for 4-5 families in front of us. It was good though after we got in and our pictures turned out fine, but I guess tough luck for us on the time we chose to go.

It's from 1:30 to 4:30 right pass the firetruck.

we had Mickey and Goofy in DL , Minnie and Goofy in Oct WDW ,and Just Goofy last week.

They did about 15 pics with him dancing with us in different poses and just a bunch of fun.

You can get 1 free pic per account per day .You do have to use it that day at the Kodak place under SSE .

I've done it three times. First it was Minnie and Donald, then Mickey and Pluto, and then Minnie and Pluto.

The last time we were there the photographer took horrible pictures. They were so horrible that I didn't even bother getting my free picture.

will this still be available in october?? i take it you just have to show your disney visa??

Also, up until Sept. 30th you can use your Disney Visa for discounts off tours. We booked Keys to the Kingdom and got 20% off. was told as of Sept 30th the discounts will be discontinued.

I went in November, in Innoventions. We had Goofy and Minnie. We did have a little bit of a wait -- like 20 minutes or so. My suggestion is that you do not wait until 4:00 to go because they were turning people away near the end.

I didn't know you could do it once per day! Can you really do it more than once? I would've done it again! I'd also like to know if anyone knows when this offer will end or if it will continue.

Do the CMs around Epcot know about this? If I go up to one and ask where it is or when it is will they know? What do you do for it? Just show them your Disney Visa and they let you in?

we went in december and it was goofy and minnie. We also had to wait about 30 minutes. I went up to the person taking the names and she wouldn't tell me what characters were there. I did ask cm's in innoventions where it was and they directed me to it. One thing I wish I had known. Bring you own camera. They will allow you to take your own pictures. Most people post that they are not rushed but we were.

I don't know if all the CMs know about it, probably not.

But it's in Innovations WEST near the fire truck. There's a sign. There is no guarantee of who you will see. It changes every 20 minutes.

It goes from 1:30p to 4:30p daily.

You must show your Visa. They will then give you a voucher to get your one free photo, which you must pick up in the photo gallary before you leave Epcot.

It's one photo per account per day.

It is only going until September 30 as it is part of the Happiest
Celebration on Earth.

Can you get these pictures on a photopass CD (if you purchase one that is) or are they separate pictures?

All of the pictures taken at the Meet and Greet are part of Photopass so yes, you can have all of them put on the CD with the rest but you can get one printed for free with the voucher; that day. If you leave without getting it, then it will be too late.

We went 2 times this last trip. 1st time there was no wait so we spent 15 minutes alone with Mickey and Pluto. They danced and hugged and it was a great time. the 2nd time we had a long line and saw Mickey, Pluto and Donald. They were great, but we didn't have as much time. The pictures are on your photopass CD if you purchase it. All pictures from both times are on my Photopass CD.

The idiot questions continue! Where is the photo gallery?

As you exit the park, it is on the left hand side. To the left of Spaceship Earth.
