Going in 3 days...was wondering how busy the meet in greet for Disney Visa holders is during this time of year?

I think it's hard to say. We were just there, 7/3-7/8. We went on Saturday, 7/5 around 2:30 and there were maybe 5 families in front of us, we waited around 30 minutes. We went again on Tuesday, 7/8 around 3:00 and the was nobody in line, we went right in.

We did the meet and greet last year but I can't remember when and where it was. Can someone tell me? Thanks

Twins, I just got my rewards packet in the mail last week, so this is pretty current: Innovations West daily 1:30-4:30pm. Must present your Disney Rewards Visa Card (the actual card I think, not the "rewards" card that has your points on it). Valid for up to 6 people and will get a comp 5x7 group photo. Of course it also says everything may "vary" and to see Guest Relations for more information. There is also no indication of which character will be there.

I was going to post a link but I can't b/c I'm still "earning my ears" so... do a google for disneyrewards and you'll find the page.

We went the end of June, and we got there 20 minutes before it started. There were 4 families ahead of us by then. When 1:30 rolled around, there was a decent line, but nothing like at the Character spot.

Seajam.....you are right, you have to present your actual Disney Visa card. They verify it while you are in line.

We had Goofy & Mickey when we went (and of course, characters can change on a daily basis). It's in a room next to the segway area, and you don't know who is there until you step through the curtain. What is really cool about it is that they take time with whoever is there, and don't rush people through like they do at some other character signings. I know my dd ran up to Mickey, and it took a bit for her to release her bear hug on him. Then they signed the book, and played around her for a bit.

A lot depends on the families ahead of you. We were there in May and there were 5 families in front of us. The wait took over an hour. And right as it was our turn to go in DS had to go potty and saw the Waste Management garbage truck near the bathrooms. That's ALL he was interested in after that. We were not amused after that long wait.:headache:

I wasnt planning on going to Epcot. But am considering buying an extra base ticket hoping that they do the free park hopper upgrade for Feb and splitting Epcot/MK for a day. Is the meet and greet worth all this?

And heres to hoping for the upgrade anyway:thumbsup2
